RUSH: We welcome back to the program the vice president of the United States, Mike Pence.(snip) RUSH: If this is what happens, Mr. Vice President, why vote Republican? What is the point of voting Republican if the Democrats are gonna continue to win practically 95% of their objectives, such as in this last budget deal? THE VICE PRESIDENT: Well, look, respectfully, Rush, I actually think this was, as the president said a little a while ago, I think this was actually a clear win for the American people. Look, you’ve had Washington, D.C., that has been, you know, paralyzed by...

House Republicans will vote Thursday on Speaker Paul Ryan’s Obamacare replacement bill, two senior GOP sources told POLITICO. The move shows that GOP leaders are confident they have the 216 votes needed to pass the bill, even as as the far-right and centrist Republicans continue to press for changes.

House Speaker Paul Ryan is under fire from fellow Republicans upset with his messy political divorce from Donald Trump, with some threatening an effort to oust him. So far, the rumblings are limited and no one has advanced a potential replacement nearly as respected among colleagues as the Wisconsin Republican. That suggests an uphill path to deposing Ryan, who was his party's 2012 vice presidential nominee and could harbor White House ambitions.

Dear Mr. (my name), Thank you for contacting me about FBI Director James Comey. I appreciate the opportunity to hear your thoughts. Like most of America, I was disgusted by the fact that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will face no charges for her reckless handling of highly sensitive classified information. As a result of her actions, the FBI could not confirm whether any of the sensitive US classified information was hacked by China, Russia, Iran, North Korea or another outside organization. This information confirms that at a minimum, she cannot be trusted with highly sensitive information. While the...

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz on Tuesday requested yet another Justice Department investigation of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton — this one focused on emails that a tech company staffer deleted in spite of a congressional committee’s request that they be preserved. In the letter — addressed to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, Channing D. Phillips, and copied to Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and FBI Director James B. Comey — the Utah Republican asks for an investigation to determine whether “Secretary Clinton or her employees and contractors violated statutes that prohibit destruction of records, obstruction...

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - An FBI source, as part of the Clinton Email scandal investigation, purportedly took to a deep anonymous website to reveal shocking information about their investigation findings. The FBI source details the turmoil they faced in the magnitude of what was discovered. --- FBI post 1- "There is enough for her and the entire government to be brought down. People do not realize how enormous this whole situation actually is. Whether she will be or not depends on how much info about others involved gets out, and there are a lot of people involved." --...

While Attorney General Loretta Lynch holds firm to her claim that the motive of Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen may never be known, the FBI is instructing Florida agencies that responded to the attack that night to deny requests for public records pertaining to the case. Mateen called police several times during the three hour ordeal to declare his allegiance to ISIS, yet only a fraction of his discussions with authorities that night have been released to the public — first an edited version, than an unedited one. In response to a lawsuit by local media seeking the release of the...

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said Thursday that one of the final hurdles to releasing a final report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi is an ongoing negotiation with the Obama administration over how much of the report should be classified. Gowdy participated in the Senate Republican lunch Thursday, and a senator at the lunch said Gowdy noted the issue of classification, raising the prospect that some information in the final report may not become public. "The fact that you have to go to the White House for a lot of this indicates big-time problems," Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., told...

Newly arrived refugees have doubled the incidence of tuberculosis in Texas, Watchdog.org has learned. The Department of State Health Services said 1,238 refugees, asylum-seekers, Cuban parolees, human-trafficking victims and holders of special immigrant visas tested positive for TB. Texas typically reports 1,200 to 1,300 active TB cases annually, DSHS said. DSHS spokesman Chris Van Deusen said the positive screenings by refugees could indicate latent TB infections. “They have been exposed to TB and have the bacteria dormant in their body. It does not indicate that they are sick with tuberculosis and capable of spreading it,” Van Deusen said. But the...

Yesterday House Speaker Paul Ryan pushed through a Puerto Rico Rescue bill called PROMESA. The details of the bill are fundamentally challenging to understand in scope, however, the key aspect to remember is the underlying benefactor(s) – Wall Street. While Ryan is severely adverse to PROMESA being called a bailout, that’s exactly what it is – only worse. The plan structurally changes the dynamics of how State debt is repaid, and the considerations for bondholders under the 5th amendment (seizure of private property w/out compensation); which will lead to a guaranteed bondholder bailout. However, beyond the ‘bailout’ aspect there is...

On Saturday Ted Cruz supporters took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs at the Colorado GOP Convention to complete a clean sweep of the state. But it was not without controversy. There never was a vote – Party elites decided on who got the delegates. The anti-Trump politicians were passing around a “Resolution to Forbid Colorado Delegates from Voting for Trump” for weeks before the convention. Snip... Robert Zubrin from Colorado Republicans for Liberty wrote about the anti-Trump resolution at American Thinker back on March 22, 2016: In the caucuses March 1, I was elected an alternate delegate...

Senator Ted Cruz has at least eight Super-PAC's assisting his presidential campaign; and according to a recording obtained by Politico a Cruz's campaign bundler was directing large donors toward one PAC specifically. The "Stand for Truth" PAC. However, the campaign appears to have, yet again, gone into the land of illegality with the following statement (via audio recording): "If you hit your max then we have a table for you that is the unlimited table," Keet Lewis, a bundler for the campaign and co-host of a Dec. 30 fundraiser in Dallas, says on the recording provided to POLITICO. "It can...

This week, the Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) established a joint-fundraising account, "Romney Victory Inc." The idea is that donors can write one big check to the joint account, which can then be divvied up between Romney's campaign committee and the RNC. According to Romney Victory fundraising documents, the first $5000 in an individual's contributions to Romney Victory will go to the Romney campaign (the $2500 maximum for use in the primary campaign, which technically runs through the convention, and the $2500 maximum for the general election). The next $30,800 goes to the RNC, again the maximum...

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush dropped out of the Republican presidential primary two days ago, prompting campaign officials and supporters to look for a scapegoat for the debacle. They may have settled on a pricey one, indeed. Political strategist Mike Murphy, head of the pro-Bush super PAC Right to Rise USA, is under fire for allegedly giving himself a salary and compensation package that totals $14 million. "He made minimum of $14 million," a Bush campaign bundler told CNN.

Sources close to the process who work for the RNC, but are not authorized to speak on the record, confirmed to Breitbart News throughout the evening on Saturday that that is standard operating procedure for the RNC and the party as a whole for all debates: Donors get tickets while voters have to watch on TV at home.

-snip- To many of the billionaires it felt like a mugging. -snip- Rove's 2012 crash is having profound effects on the 2016 Republican primary. To begin with, George W. Bush's Brain is no longer considered much of a brain. "I gave Rove $500,000. What did I get for it? Nothing!" Langone told me. Two of Rove's most generous 2012 funders, Texas billionaires Bob Perry and Harold Simmons, have since passed away, and their heirs have turned off the cash spigot. "Everyone is still shocked Romney lost," says Simmons's widow, Annette. "I haven't committed at all." So far this year, Crossroads...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Friday warned Republican voters to steer clear of nominating Tea Party candidates who can't win in next year's general election. "The way you have a good election year is to nominate people who can win," he told reporters during his final Capitol Hill press conference of 2015. He urged Republican primary voters to avoid the mistakes of the past, mentioning several Tea Party candidates who went down in flames in recent Senate elections. "What we did in 2014 was we didn't have more Christine O'Donnell's, Sharron Angles, Richard Mourdocks or Todd Akins. The...

Mitch McConnell has a game plan to confront President Barack Obama with a stark choice next year: Accept bills reining in the administrations policies or veto them and risk a government shutdown. In an extensive interview here, the typically reserved McConnell laid out his clearest thinking yet of how he would lead the Senate if Republicans gain control of the chamber. The emerging strategy: Attach riders to spending bills that would limit Obama policies on everything from the environment to health care, consider using an arcane budget tactic to circumvent Democratic filibusters and force the president to 'move to the...
