House Republicans will vote Thursday on Speaker Paul Ryan’s Obamacare replacement bill, two senior GOP sources told POLITICO.

The move shows that GOP leaders are confident they have the 216 votes needed to pass the bill, even as as the far-right and centrist Republicans continue to press for changes.

Well this will be interesting. The Conservatives had better step up and vote for this bill. I don’t think FREEPERS understand the bill. The bill allows tax payers to deduct their medical costs AND medical savings accounts off their tax bills. When did Conservatives start loving taxes????? So weird.

They wouldn’t have scheduled the vote unless they have the votes.

The GOP has now lied TWICE to Americans.

They are the scum that rape and sell children
in pedogate, that used the IRS to attack conseratives,
and then kept themselves EXEMPT from the Law and
their “taxes”.

I agree. Most of these who are against this are against everything. They have not gone through it at all.
That 30 per cent to the insurance comapnies is the point I dont like. I would sooner that if anyone chooses to not have insurance give up their right to file bankruptcy because of the costs they run up in a health incident.

I have a strong hunch that requirement will be eliminated by the time they vote next Thursday. Giving up that one sop may be sufficient to get enough members of the House Freedom Caucus to support it.

it’s the selling our souls to the devil on other parts of what’s in the bill that I don’t like.

Who cares about deducting the “cost” when lower cost is the real solution to the problem.

The 30% to insurance companies is the point I don't like.

I'm okay with that under two conditions. First, the mandate has to DISAPPEAR....not be put on hold. Second, there has to have been a choice that is high-deductible catastrophic insurance only. It's totally reasonable to expect people to have a safety net policy that covers unexpected expenses that a budget can't absorb.

A policy like that wouldn't be expensive and the overall cost for the insurance company could be easily evaluated.

The bill allows tax payers to deduct their medical costs AND medical savings accounts off their tax bills.

I see how that can be beneficial. I also see how people struggling to make ends meet still have to come up with the money to pay for their exorbitantly-priced health insurance in order for the government to dole it back to them at a later date.

And while it is not a mandate, it is still the government coercing the citizenry to purchase a certain product. Want to keep more of your own money? Buy this and we'll let you.

It will go over to the Senate. Schumer can take to the podium....get the Kleenex.....

The problem is....even Dems and Obama himself said it needed fixing.

Most of these who are against this are against everything. They have not gone through it at all.

The Heritage Foundation doesn't like the bill. I'm pretty sure they've gone through it with a fine toothed comb, and I trust them more than any thieving politicians on Capitol Hill.

Pure BS! So Republicans want to own Obamacare 2.0!!!!! The Democrats will consider this a major victory! It will be Trumpcare the second it starts to fail. It will fail no matter what tinkering they did to it because this crap is incompatible with our society and will never work. Repeal was a promise. I despise the GOP and I suppose President Trump will sign this when it eventually gets to him because the Senate will just rubber stamp it.

I am very concerned about this bill, and I hope all those who voted for Trump are jamming the phone lines to the White with the message....scrap it, RyanCare is Obamacare Lite.

Wish they would go with the Rand Paul bill, that one is perfect.

Why is anyone here in favor of leaving 0bamaCare in place, rather than first repealing it entirely?

Do you fundamentally like it?

Repeal government control.

Then see if there is any agreement about what to do other than allow freedom.
