    The latest Rasmussen poll shows a three way race between Rudy Giuliani (26%), Condoleezza Rice (24%), and John McCain (21%). I think these numbers are somewhat striking in that Rice, who to date has shown no interest in running, is actually outpacing McCain. This is not good news for those preparing to board the “Straight Talk Express,” and really brings to light a deep resentment in the “Bush wing” of the Republican Party towards McCain’s well earned reputation as a maverick.
