CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq (Oct. 19, 2006) -- Five years after the Sept. 11 attacks, two New York City police officers continue to serve, but not in the uniform one would expect. Lance Cpl. Farah M. Sainvil and Gunnery Sgt. Nelson T. Hernandez traded their “NYPD blue” for camouflage and combat boots to serve a seven-month tour in Iraq.
