Drudge posted an article (from a banned source) which stated that very low levels of Fukushima radiation will likely reach the West Coast next month. Incredibly, the article states that there is no federal agency which currently samples Pacific Coast seawater for radiation. I find it disturbing that: 1. There is money being spent for many frivolous activities, yet three is no monitoring for radiation on the West Coast? 2. The EPA is monitoring puddles on people's private property, yet there is no monitoring of radiation on the West Coast!

An amateur video of a Geiger counter showing what appear to be high radiation levels at a Coastside beach has drawn the attention of local, state and federal public health officials. Since being posted last week, the short video has galvanized public concerns that radioactive material could be landing on the local coastline after traveling from Japan as a result of the 2011 meltdown of the Fukushima Daiichi reactors. Government officials say they are looking into the video shot on Dec. 23 and performing their own sampling of the beaches, but they have found no indication so far that radiation...

April 8, 2011, 2:53 PM HKT Grab Your Chopsticks and Geiger Counters At Gyotaku, a Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong, business is bad and money is tight. But that didn’t stop owner John Liang from splurging on a new tool last week: a Geiger counter, for 10,000 Hong Kong dollars (about US$1,300). Since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami set off Japan’s nuclear crisis, many diners in Hong Kong have steered clear of sushi restaurants for fear of radiation poisoning from food, particularly fish, that’s come from Japan. As business spirals down, some Hong Kong eateries have chosen to stay...

A city councilman and the cops don't want you to have that Geiger counter without their permission. But Richard Falkenrath, the NYPD's deputy commissioner for counterterrorism, knows that it's just a matter of time. That's why he and Mayor Michael Bloomberg have asked the City Council to pass a law requiring anyone who wants to own such detectors to get a permit from the police first. And it's not just devices to detect weaponized anthrax that they want the power to control, but those that detect everything from industrial pollutants to asbestos in shoddy apartments. Want to test for pollution...

I heard this on Fox News - HIGH LEVELS of RADIATION detected (announcer said they were off the scale!) in huge underground office complex (described as a complete underground city) somewhere south of Baghdad; Described as a Nuclear City (found by US Marines). This could very well be the smoke leading to the smoking gun of Iraq's Nuclear WMD program.

U.S. Set for a Major Assault on Guards By MATT KELLEY .c The Associated Press WASHINGTON (AP) - Some of Iraq's Republican Guard units surrounding Baghdad have been hit so hard by airstrikes they are at less than half strength, the Pentagon's top general says. ``I imagine their morale is a little low right now because they've lost a lot of their force,'' Gen. Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Sunday. ``Their fighting capability is going down minute by minute, hour by hour. There's not going to be much left to fight with.'' In street-by-street fighting...
