(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento truck driver was released from the hospital Friday after becoming the target of a violent crime at a Wyoming rest stop along I-80 last weekend. FOX40 spoke with Jasjit Singh, a local advocate for the Sikh community who works with the organization Jakara Movement. Singh also serves as a trustee for the Sacramento City Unified School District. Singh said officials arrested a 44-year-old suspect from San Gabriel for allegedly stabbing the Sikh man 17 times.
