Offer Vince Shlomi, better known as the “ShamWow guy,” released his first campaign ad on Sunday in his bid for Texas’s 31st Congressional District– and it’s a wild ride. Shlomi, a former infomercial fixture, announced his bid for Rep. John Carter’s (TX-31) seat in November, vowing to “destroy wokeism” and as a tribute to the late Charlie Kirk, whose death he claimed was the “catalyst” for his campaign. That anti-woke message was featured prominently in Shlomi’s first ad, which showcased his classic infomercial showmanship, a promise to “slam chop the nuts out of woke,” and a talking fetus. “I’m going...

NATO has a huge problem that will take decades to overcome. Put most simply, the armor vehicles NATO has won’t survive in a firefight with the Russians, notwithstanding the fact that Russian armor is far from the best. Russia has demonstrated in Ukraine that in conventional warfare it can knock out some of NATOs best tanks and decimate Western armored fighting vehicles like the US Bradley and the German Marder. NATO does not have enough tanks, does not have sound logistics to support them, and faces significant problems coming up against modern Russian ground forces. The Leopard tank has performed...

When I check into this site, often there were interesting discussions from the day before I want to look at. But they are already buried 4 pages deep because it seems some people just post anything they find. Who cares about a radio station promotional announcements, Bruno Kirby dying, or any of this other tripe that some people are posting up. I'm new here, but it seems that some guys are pretty much spamming the blog with articles that rate a "1" on the who gives a crap meter. If it isn't something that we will still remember in 10...
