WASHINGTON, March 5 (UPI) -- The Pentagon's train platform remains shut down Wednesday after a suspicious black book bag was found at 1 p.m. near the escalators used by commuters, Pentagon and police sources said. The bag is being swabbed for explosives or contamination, according to Pentagon spokeswoman Cheryl Irwin.
