looking at posts that show a time that is 15 minutes in the future. wondering if the clock that time stamps posts is off.

For months now when I vist Free Republic I get an error message when I click on the Activity tab. The error reads: Your query returned no results. I have tried numerous settings, flushing my cache, etc. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Just asking. Liked seeing how many people had viewed a particular thread.

We have three tab buttons on our account page - Articles, Activity, Comments. The (Activity Button) never shows anything. It used to.Have I mucked up some of my settings?

Can someone tell me what is happening. Every computer I use now give this as a response to log on. Did the software change a few months ago?

Lately I haven't been able to monitor activity using the "Activity" tab option. Does anyone happen to know why? I thought mayber there was a change that I missed but I've querried the keyword activity and nothing comes back.

Any ideas why the Views: stat is missing? I like the stat so I can see when a topic has had a lot of FR interest even if replies aren't high. I checked computers in 3 locations and none of them showed views. I did a search for "views" and find 1 posting from 3/05 about Views - it vanished before and may not be a universal problem. Also, tried clicking on "Activity" as someone there indicated and some threads have views and others don't.

Today, I notice that the number of thread views is not displaying. The number of replies is. I like to see the number of views because it indicates what subjects are of most interest to FReepers at any time. For example, Palin posts get many views and gets them quick. My posts about Honduras, not so much. Did the recent outages cause the elimination of the "views" data?

Tonight the number of views for posts disappeared and all that displays is the number of comments. What's up with that? I LIKE seeing number of views, using it as a barometer of interest in a post.

Was Free Republic Website down Today?

FR was out for me on Sunday and now it is responding very slowly except when I select a topic. The main page loads VERY SLOWLY. Is anyone else experiencing problems with FR? All other internet sites are normal.

for the last week or two it is taking a long time to load ( if at all) What gives?

Please Admins and IT Folks fix this site. The way it is operating now is tantamount to a DOS Attack.

For the last few days, both my computers started having trouble loading Free Republic pages, sometimes taking several minutes. I've noticed more than usual multiple postings for the same Freepers which tells me they are having the same problems. Has this been a problem with other users or it it just my problem? Thanks

Since the recent to-do with the change of FR's IP address, I've been having problems seeing the state (or region) flag images on FReeper pages. They all come up as broken links, although if clicked they still go to the blog for the appropriate state. What gives?

Like to know how many people have viewed a particular thread, whether mine or someone else's, so I'm curious if we'll see that feature return.
