The globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) founder Klaus Schwab has begun to “start the process” of stepping down as chair of its board of trustees, the Geneva-based institution confirmed Thursday. The German academic said the forum, which convenes its annual gathering of world elites at the Swiss resort of Davos, must recover its “sense of mission” after a period of turmoil. The Financial Times first reported Schwab’s departure, citing a letter to trustee board members and confirmation by two people with knowledge of the situation. The missive reportedly said in part: I am deeply convinced that in today’s special context...

Several climate change protests erupted Thursday during the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) final chair candidate forum before the party selects a new leader, prompting the MSNBC moderators to plead with the activists in the crowd to stop the disruptions. Multiple protesters had to be physically dragged out of the forum, hosted at Washington, DC’s, Georgetown University by MSNBC personalities Jen Psaki, Jonathan Capehart, and Symone Sanders-Townsend:

From NEXTDOOR policy. “…We stand in solidarity with neighbors advocating for racial justice and those speaking out against hate. These issues are relevant in neighborhoods everywhere -- that’s why we allow conversations in support of Black Lives Matter, Stop Asian Hate, and other movements that advocate for racial equality and civil rights anywhere on Nextdoor as long as they adhere to our community guidelines. Content posted in opposition or as a rebuttal to support for racial equality is counterproductive and harmful. We ask that neighbors be mindful of engaging constructively in discussions on these issues. While neighbors are free to...

Over this past year, we’ve seen a completely false narrative being sold to the American public about “voting rights” — that somehow the Republicans are trying to deny people the right to vote. Democrats can’t point to how any of these bills or laws do that. But that hasn’t stopped the Democrats from pushing the claim without evidence and shouting “racist” about laws such as the one in Georgia under which people have more opportunities to vote than in Joe Biden’s own state of Delaware. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) even went so far as to claim on Stephen Colbert’s show...

Several weeks ago I noticed that excerpts from articles no longer appear below the article's title, as they used to. I can't find any setting that would restore them. Is there such a setting at the personal level? Or was this a system-wide change? If it was system-wide, I would advocate for restoring the excerpts on the main forum page.

Hello All - It's with great regret that I inform this community that this site will be closing within 48 hours. I have been threatened with "Consumer Action in Superior Court" due to allowing people to freely debate COVID-19 in the WRP forum. Clearly, this site cannot operate the way it has for the last 20 years in the era of COVID-19. I'm not going to get into the details here, but I'm just a guy with a hobby horse site, and I can't afford to put my family at further risk because COVID Nazis want to force people to...

When the FBI appeared at David Goodyear’s doorstep in August 2016, they started asking him about telescopes. The 42-year-old IT specialist and avid stargazer had frequented an astronomy forum called Cloudy Nights. Now, someone had taken the forum offline with a denial-of-service attack, and the evidence pointed to Goodyear.

IMDb Message Boards Announcement IMDb is the world’s most popular and authoritative source for movie, TV and celebrity content. As part of our ongoing effort to continually evaluate and enhance the customer experience on IMDb, we have decided to disable IMDb’s message boards on February 20, 2017. This includes the Private Message system. After in-depth discussion and examination, we have concluded that IMDb’s message boards are no longer providing a positive, useful experience for the vast majority of our more than 250 million monthly users worldwide. H/T The Truth division: Crooked’ Hillary Clinton wore an ear piece in last night’s Commander-in Chief Forum hosted by NBC and MSNBC. This was the first event where both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were invited to attend together. Each candidate received a short period with host Matt Lauer. It was expected that both candidates would provide unaided answers to the questions asked but it appears Hillary did not. Donald Trump tweeted after the event his disdain for candidate Clinton using the ear piece which provided her a boost in answering questions. Trump tweeted “We can’t let Hillary get away...

At 8 PM Eastern time tonight a so-called Commander-In-Chief Forum will be on NBC. The event will be hosted by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Hillary and The Donald will be answering national security questions (the questions will be from the audience, I'm told).

Donald Trump's son on Friday raised questions about Matt Lauer’s links to the Clinton Foundation, suggesting the NBC host may not be fair in his role of candidate forum moderator. “Obviously there’s a lot of speculation because of his involvement with the foundation,” Eric Trump said in an interview with “Fox and Friends.” "I hope he’ll be fair,” he continued, saying that NBC and MSNBC have been biased against his father. “It may as well be a super-PAC against Trump,” he said. “It’s really, really sad to see what’s happened to the media on that station.”

Allies of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) are now targeting conservative legend Phyllis Schlafly, a leading grassroots anti-establishment voice for half a century, because Schlafly endorsed billionaire businessman Donald Trump for president in the 2016 GOP primary. ..snip For the first time here, the inside story of Schlafly’s battle for survival—including exclusive interviews with her, her daughter who’s working against her, and several of the others involved—will be told. In dueling Breitbart interviews, both Schlafly and Cori detail how painful this has been for both of them—and how it’s torn apart one of America’s leading conservative families.

Greenville, S.C. - In the latest volley in the war of insults between Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, Cruz's campaign is attacking Rubio for missing the Conservative Review Forum here tonight. Rubio was scheduled to speak, but ultimately did not attend. "This is a final admission that Marco Rubio isn't even going to try to compete for the votes of conservatives in South Carolina or anywhere else. And who can blame him? Rubio isn't conservative," said Rick Tyler, Cruz's communications director, in a statement. "Instead Rubio and his campaign would rather hide behind their deceptive campaign tactics and liberal record...
