Hundreds of anti-Israel activists arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport on Friday as part of a “fly in flotilla.” Border officials refused to grant 124 of them entrance, and they were brought to Givon and Ela prisons to await deportation. Those refused entrance – citizens of Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Holland, and the United States – were on a list sent out to airports in advance of the planned fly-in. European authorities are preventing some pro-Palestinian Authority Arab sympathizers from participating in the “fly-in” to Israel, at Jerusalem's request. Eight activists were prevented from boarding a Malev flight from Paris to Budapest, where they intended to pick up a connecting flight to Israel. Three anti-Israel activists from France and Belgium were arrested at Ben Gurion Airport Wednesday. Deportation orders have been issued against them and they will soon be flown out of the country. They are believed to be the earliest arrivals in a planned anti-Israeli “fly-in” to Ben Gurion Airport. The Calhoun Air Center may suddenly have a plethora of visitors in the near future. The public is invited to the airport’s second annual “Big Whoop Fly-In” on Saturday, Dec. 12 to see the facility, planes on display, and enjoy food and entertainment by more than 40 local organizations. “We have everything from retail organizations in town to banks, real estate,” Calhoun Air Center manager Ann Brinkman said. “It keeps growing and growing. ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A small plane made an emergency landing in a mall's parking lot on Tuesday, stunning back-to-school shoppers, and the pilot and a passenger emerged with only minor injuries. A flight instructor and student got out of the plane, and no one on the ground was injured, police said.
