Law enforcement groups are posting on social media, asking for prayers for officers on scene in the small town of Allen, which is about 35 miles northeast of Hazard, Kentucky. LEX18 is reporting that Kentucky Route 1428 between Citizens Bank of Kentucky and Allen curve is currently closed and that the incident is reportedly on Main Street. The photographer described Harris as his “long time client” – over four years, according to him. We told you yesterday about the 2631 votes being “discovered” in Floyd County that hadn’t been tabulated into the vote count because of an alleged scanner problem and then it just was not counted. Most were for President Donald Trump, which gave him about an 800 vote pick up in Georgia. FLOYD CO., Va. (WSET) -- Floyd County is responding to potential new state gun laws with a militia muster call. The Unorganized Militia of Floyd County will muster at the Floyd County Recreational Park at noon on Saturday, January 18. The group says the purpose of the call is to "preserve tranquility, peace and civil order" with a group of volunteers that will come together in case a full militia is needed to "defend the rights and liberties" of the residents of Floyd County.

At least 15 roaming horses were fatally shot at a Kentucky strip mine site, authorities said, describing it as a "battlefield for just horses." The horses were found along U.S. 23 near the Floyd-Pike County line, WYMT-TV reported Tuesday. FLOYD COUNTY, TX (KCBD) - A Floyd County Grand Jury has indicted a former Floydada High School Teacher's Aide on a charge of having an improper relationship between an educator and a student. Police say 50-year-old Hope Warren is accused of engaging in sexual acts with a 16-year-old student. Warren resigned from her position with Floydada ISD on Friday, when the district first learned about the allegations. The Floyd County Sheriff's Office tells us that Warren has not yet been arrested.
