As President Obama said, “This deal is not built on trust. It’s built on verification.” There are a number of procedures in place to make sure Iran follows the terms of the agreement. I welcome the discussion in Congress about the agreement. The American people need to understand this—the more they understand the agreement, the more they will understand its importance.
