A school district in northern Virginia is requiring all teachers to complete a training program that says all students - including preschoolers - can request to be addressed by different names or pronouns without parental permission. Fairfax County schools are set to reopen classrooms for in-person learning this month, but thousands of teachers plan to continue working from home. Five students and a teacher were injured Friday morning in a chemistry classroom fire at W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax County, school district officials said.
