The FBI’s four wiretap affidavits to a federal judge in 2016-17 deliberately hid a part of Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page’s professional life that would have revealed his patriotic role as a CIA informant instead of the bureau’s nefarious depiction, the Justice Department inspector general’s report shows. The 476-page history of how the FBI targeted the Trump campaign contains over a dozen instances in which the FBI violated its own rules by including inaccuracies in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) applications or omitting exculpatory evidence. Perhaps none was more damaging than the actions of FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith, whose...

The co-founder of the opposition research firm behind the Steele dossier, Glenn Simpson, will invoke his First and Fifth Amendment privileges to avoid testifying before Congress next week, his lawyer has told Congress. According to The Hill, Simpson’s attorney, Joshua Levy, told House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte that Simpson will not appear for a deposition because the congressional investigation “is not designed to discover the truth.” The Virginia Republican subpoenaed Simpson on Sept. 29 after Levy said his client would not appear voluntarily for an interview before members of the House Judiciary and House Oversight & Government Reform...

On the day after the election, FBI official Peter Strzok and senior FBI lawyer Lisa Page, his paramour, discussed how they could undo the damage they did in the Clinton investigation, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) revealed on Fox News Tuesday morning. Gowdy said recently released text messages exchanged between the pair during the 2016 election show a level of anti-Trump bias "that you rarely see." Strzok was a top counterintelligence agent with the FBI when he was involved with the Hillary Clinton email investigation and FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. He exchanged more than 50,000 messages with Page,...

....“too big to believe” ... a cabal dedicated to defeating Donald Trump and to let Hillary skate in the classified email probe. FBI leaders betrayed the nation by abusing govt powers to hand-pick the president. ....also involves the salacious Russian dossier paid for by the DNC and Clinton campaign......almost certainly used to get FISA court warrants to spy on Trump associates....oppo-research of the party in power convinced a court to let it spy on the candidate of the other party — without telling the court of the dossier’s political link. Even worse, there is growing reason to believe someone in...

During the financial crisis, the federal government bailed out banks it declared “too big to fail.” Fearing their bankruptcy might trigger economic Armageddon, the feds propped them up with taxpayer cash. Something similar is happening now at the FBI, with the Washington wagons circling the agency to protect it from charges of corruption. This time, the appropriate tag line is “too big to believe.” Yet each day brings credible reports suggesting there is a massive scandal involving the top ranks of America’s premier law enforcement agency. The reports, which feature talk among agents of a “secret society” and suddenly missing...

What happens when Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama, two of the most corrupt politicians in modern history, join forces with the goal of their unholy alliance being their party’s retention of the most powerful office on earth? You get the potential for what was once “unthinkable,” to become “ordinary.” Nowhere is that more evident, than the “TrumpGate” scandal currently unfolding. Now, according to Douglas J. Hagmann, President Trump now has evidence of a paper trail leading to a FISA court that substantiates his assertions that Obama, obtained authorization to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign under the pretense of a national...
