During the financial crisis, the federal government bailed out banks it declared “too big to fail.” Fearing their bankruptcy might trigger economic Armageddon, the feds propped them up with taxpayer cash.
Something similar is happening now at the FBI, with the Washington wagons circling the agency to protect it from charges of corruption. This time, the appropriate tag line is “too big to believe.”
Yet each day brings credible reports suggesting there is a massive scandal involving the top ranks of America’s premier law enforcement agency. The reports, which feature talk among agents of a “secret society” and suddenly missing text messages, point to the existence both of a cabal dedicated to defeating Donald Trump in 2016 and of a plan to let Hillary Clinton skate free in the classified email probe.
If either one is true — and I believe both probably are — it would mean FBI leaders betrayed the nation by abusing their powers in a bid to pick the president.
More support for this view involves the FBI’s use of the Russian dossier on Trump that was paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. It is almost certain that the FBI used the dossier to get FISA court warrants to spy on Trump associates, meaning it used the opposition research of the party in power to convince a court to let it spy on the candidate of the other party — likely without telling the court of the dossier’s political link.
Even worse, there is growing reason to believe someone in President Barack Obama’s administration turned over classified information about Trump to the Clinton campaign.
As one former federal prosecutor put it, “It doesn’t get worse than that.” That prosecutor, Joseph diGenova, believes Trump was correct [Obama tapped his phone].

Not any more it isn't. It probably cannot recover that level of respect and trust in my lifetime, if ever. It was apparently all too easy for obama and Clinton to turn it into a political tool just one step (a few assassinations/political imprisonments) away from being the secret police in a banana republic.
It’s not a scandal.
It’s a coup attempt, very much in progress, and I would not be the least bit surprised to discover that Ryan (Romney), McConnell (Bush), and even Pence are coordinating with Mueller.
Man, can you image a President Pence?

I have to many family in Law Enforcement.
Let’s just say the respect was not super high to begin with. Never should have been. They are people, and people do things for all sorts of reasons.
Just because their office has some sort of alphabet soup on the front door, doesn’t mean they are good people. They are the same type of people in every office, every where, only with more temptation.
If the VP wasn’t actively volunteering and helping bring down the coup, then he risks being viewed as part of it.
Too big to believe? There has been a rumor from a certain someone that the FBI was working with a foreign country to assassinate the president and his family.
Top men? Premier?
These folks are just political hacks, cops looking the other during a protection shakedown in exchange for free donuts.
Of course classified info was fed to HRC campaign... Remember in the July 2016 debate she brought up Russia!
What we know right now, even if we do not find out anything else in the coming weeks, is going to precipitate televised testimony in front of Congressional Comittees all Summer. Remember Watergate? How the entire nation was glued to the tube for months? Hanging on every word? Horrified to hear of the plotting and scheming of a half dozen folks at the highest levels of government over a 15 minute burglary? Because we both know it is going to happen. The integrity of the FNI is the least of it. And it is going to blow back entirely on the Rats. What a time to be alive!
The FBI is a laughing stock. I don’t want to hear about good agents working in the field, etc. If they want to salvage their careers and their reputations and make their sons and daughters proud of what their parents did, they will drag their rotten apples to the curb at the end of a noose and present them - all of them - the the American people, with a list of their crimes pinned to their backs. Some of the rotten apples probably just deserve a good tar and feathering and being taken to the county line tied to a rail. Justice for some, however, will require more extreme measures.
If you recall, Malcolm Turnbull was one of the first guys CINC met with.

The FBI proteceds the Clintons, Obama's and other liberal elites' around Washington DC. FBI agents lived in the 5 wealthiest counties in the United States - those clustered around Washington DC...
The "elites" and the people of the Deep State wanted a "President of Washington DC" who would continue keeping THEM and THEIR FAMILIES on top on the gravy train. The FBI agreed.
They hate Trump BECAUSE HE RAN AS 'PRESIDENT OF THE PEOPLE' of the United States... AND he meant it. He got to DC and did NOT 'pivot' toward the elites. Did not 'pivot' toward the corrupt people in "intelligence'... Trump didn't turn his back on the people and the elites and their thugs hate him for that.
This was a branch of the federal government using it's full power to influence the outcome of elections....that's big. Everyone walked.
Us peons are the only ones who lose everything and go to prison when we break laws. The elite quit, with full pensions and no jail time.
