It's been amusing to hear Senator Kennedy going on and on about Alito. "The American people deserve better," he just shouted. "This body (the Senate) deserves better." Indeed, he is correct. They deserve much better than Ted Kennedy. Perhaps the best test for senators on the vote is this: Which one would you trust not to leave you to drown and die: Ted Kennedy or Sam Alito?
