Within the last 15 minutes, my FB account logged me out. I figured I had just received my latest ban, but it doesn't seem to be the case. My girlfriend texted me and asked if I had been kicked out, as she had too. Most the people I know and work with have also been kicked out, and Instagram is not working, either. Is it a hack? Or some underpaid IT guy just forgot a certificate somewhere?

Facebook has banned Libs of TikTok from the platform for breaking 'community standards' as the popular right-wing account has warned of 'extreme censorship' ahead of the 2024 election. The owner behind Libs of TikTok, Chaya Raichik, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday as she posted the message she received about the account being deactivated on Facebook. Meta suggests it may have to shut down Facebook and Instagram in the European Union (EU) if it’s no longer able to transfer data across the Atlantic between Europe and the US. While the suggestion appears to just be posturing, some top politicians in Europe seem almost hilariously unphased by the proposition. Meta’s suggestion was quietly mentioned in the company’s annual report to the US Securities and Exchange Commission last week. The remarks regard new EU legalization currently being drawn up that would require data processing service providers to set up safeguards against illegal data transfers to non-EU governments. “If...

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has clarified that he is not an atheist, ending years of speculation about his religious beliefs. The revelation came in a comment underneath a post Zuckerberg originally posted on Christmas Day, wishing his followers a merry Christmas and a happy Hanukkah. Someone asked: “But aren’t you atheist [sic]?” prompting Zuckerberg to say he was not and that he believes religion to be “very important”. Zuckerberg, who was raised Jewish, has cultivated an interest in Buddhism through his wife and met the Pope last summer, did not elaborate on his beliefs and did not explicitly say if...

It seems some liberals are having a collective meltdown over an online conservative protest called "Facebook Blackout." Facebook has established a pattern of silencing Conservative posters and pages so, on August 24 and 25th, we are going to grant them their wish. Silence from out side. Any advertising dollars that they lose will be their lesson.

A McKeesport gun shop’s giveaway contest had to be postponed because Facebook shut down the Pittsburgh Tactical Firearm’s page. The contest was to give away an AR-15, ammunition, and other gear, valued at some $10,000 dollars. The company has done many of the giveaways, their most recent was back in February. KDKA-AM’s Robert Mangino spoke with Pittsburgh Tactical Firearm’s Owner Eric Lowry about his gun shop’s giveaway who says they’ve never had any problems up until now.
