Nope..pass.
The whole thing was founded by the Rurik dynasty...of Viking ancestry.
Matter of fact, Moscow wasnt even there when the whole place was founded.
Pass Facebook. But, the video is excellent as are the 4 youtube videos regarding Russian appropriation of Ukraine history for its own.

Get over Russophobia.
Bkmk. Thanks for posting.
Is Russia really great?
Nope! Not even close.
(It may be around long after the USA is gone, however.)
Is Russia really great? I guess that answer depends on whether you are Russian or not. Same as if the question were, “Is Denmark really great?”
But one thing is for sure. Russia is paranoid, and for good reason. Outside powers have done her wrong for centuries. Don’t get me wrong. In no way does that automatically excuse any action Russia might take.
Nevertheless, Russian paranoia is something that should be considered.
As someone whose capital was settled only in the 18th century, and established just before the 19th century, I’m not so moved by the fact that Kyiv is older than Moscow. Kyiv was defeated by Vladimir (a capital only 200 miles from Moscow) in 1169. EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS AGO.
The name Russia was given once more to Kyiv by the Lithuanians, who conquered Kyiv in 1320. SEVEN HUNDRED YEARS AGO. The Lithuanian-Polish-Russian Empire collapsed, and by 1654, Russia ruled Kyiv. THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY YEARS AGO. At the time, America was a handful of British settlements surrounded by Indians.
The reason Ukrainians don’t like their country to be called “The Ukraine” is that Ukraine only means “borderlands” or “frontierlands,” a name given by Russia, which only means anything relative to Russia. With the Russian Revolution, Ukraine rebelled, and Kyiv changed hands dozens of times between 1917 and 1921.
None of this takes away Ukraine’s right to self-determination. Had Putin learned of the Holodor, instead of Soviet and American-Left propaganda as represented by the New York Times’ Pulitzer-prize winning series, he would have realized how foolish trying to invade Kyiv was.
Thank you.
I found these videos insightful regarding Russian appropriation of Ukraine history.
Can’t answer about “great” but here’s a non-wimpy Russian official being interviewed.
The music is awesome!
The population of Russia is less than the Indonesian Island of Java
The GDP of Russia is less than Canada with a population of only 38 million and Korea with a population of but 26 million
The fact is, Russia isn’t
Lies, K was not elected he was installed by the CIA.
You could hear stuff like this back in Cold War times. It’s pointless. If we’re not in serious trouble, then we don’t need to put other countries and cultures down. If America is on the skids and the West is taking a nose dive, there’s no comfort in putting Russia down.
