Staten Island leaders demanded Whoopi Goldberg apologize for falsely claiming a Big Apple bakery refused to serve her sweet treats because of her lefty politics — as the family-run business was inundated with orders. “The View” co-host sparked widespread outrage this week when she alleged that the beloved 145-year-old Holtermann’s Bakery on Staten Island declined to make her a batch of Charlotte Russe desserts due to her political beliefs. “Recently someone took to the national airwaves and defamed, frankly, this family business,” borough president, Vito Fossella, fumed at a news conference held outside the bakery on Friday. “We’re here to...

Jeremy Redfern, press secretary for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has baselessly accused former President Donald Trump of hiding in a “basement” instead of being on the presidential campaign trail. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, was in Florida earlier today to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law Amalija Knavs, having delivered two speeches in New Hampshire this week already and appearing twice in court in Manhattan. Trump speaks again tonight in Concord, NH. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Redfern wrote: “Current location of presidential candidates not named Ron DeSantis – Nikki Haley: Basement Donald Trump: Basement Joe Biden:...

What is the first thing you notice by looking at that film? If you’re like most people, you notice that James Comey is about a foot taller than anyone else in that entire room. Let’s be honest here: If the Director of the FBI really believed that, by wearing a blazer that is similar in color to the curtains in that room, he was going to avoid attracting attention from the President or anyone else, he is obviously too damned dim-witted to be the FBI Director, and needed firing for that reason alone. Now take a look at the photo...

THE COLLEGE RAPE CLUB December 10, 2014 Sorry this column is late. I got raped again on the way home. Twice. I should clarify -- by "raped," I mean that two seductive Barry White songs came on the radio, which, according to the University of Virginia, constitutes rape. TAKE BACK THE NIGHT! Even the feminist-whipped media parted company with Rolling Stone magazine over Sabrina Rubin Erdely's story about an alleged fraternity gang-rape at the University of Virginia -- since retracted. But while dismantling every part of this preposterous rape claim by a woman Rolling Stone calls "Jackie," journalists rush to...

Many of those enhanced pensions went to senior commanders, including eight district chiefs who claimed injuries while filling in for deputy chiefs, mostly in desk jobs. They retired as deputy chiefs. One of them, John J. Ellard, acknowledged to the Globe in a January interview that he went on a previously scheduled golf trip to Ireland 15 days after he suffered a career-ending back injury during a fire. In the interview, Ellard said he played no golf on the trip. His annual tax-free pension is $89,532. LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 /U.S. Newswire/ -- DeafRepublicans (www.DeafRepublicans.com), a national grassroots organization comprised of deaf and hard of hearing Republicans issued a statement today in response to a press release issued by the Kerry Edwards campaign on behalf of a group which purports to speak for the entire deaf and hard of hearing population in the U.S. DeafRepublicans today repudiated recent statements by Gregory Hlibok, Co-Chair of the National Deaf and Hard of Hearing Americans for Kerry-Edwards Steering Committee, in which Hlibok claims his group "speaks to the confidence and commitment of America's 27 million Americans with hearing loss...
