Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence to seemingly brown-nose the soon-to-be commander-in-chief to reportedly be a part of Trump’s revolutionary change in the United States. Despite lying to Congress about censoring conservatives, Zuckerberg visited Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida home on Wednesday to be a part of his “reform movement” that the incoming administration is leading. Trump adviser Stephen Miller confirmed Trump and Zuckerberg’s meeting, saying that the Facebook founder views Trump's second term as a chance at "national renewal” in the country. He said that although Zuckerberg has his own company and his...

Facebook has banned The Epoch Times, a conservative news outlet that spent more money on pro-Trump Facebook advertisements than any group other than the Trump campaign, from any future advertising on the platform. The decision follows an NBC News report that The Epoch Times had shifted its spending on Facebook in the last month, seemingly in an effort to obfuscate its connection to some $2 million worth of ads that promoted the president and conspiracy theories about his political enemies. “Over the past year we removed accounts associated with the Epoch Times for violating our ad policies, including trying to...

Facebook has restored conservative commentator Candace Owens’s account and said they “made a mistake.” In a Twitter post on May 17, Owens shared a screenshot which appeared to be a Facebook notice. “It looks like we made a mistake and removed something you posted on Facebook that didn’t go against our Community Standard. We want to apologize and let you know that we’ve restored your content and removed any blocks on your account related to this incorrect action,” read the statement. Owens didn’t buy the explanation and credited the restoration of her account to her having a “large enough platform...

It’s not just high-profile anti-leftist political commentators such as Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson and Laura Loomer who are being banned from Facebook and de-platformed elsewhere. Facebook has forced a well-known Christian apologist off their platform for things he posted years earlier — such as death and rape threats he received and even a famous anti-Nazi picture — after repeatedly being reported by online by Muslim activist group targeting Christians. Apologist Dr. David Wood finally gave up Facebook because every time a suspension finished he was suspended again almost immediately, within hours, for older and older posts and for longer...

Social media giant admits its employees blew 22 of 29 situations Facebook admitted that its censors made the wrong call on nearly half of a set of 49 situations addressed in a new study. ProPublica reported that it reviewed the company’s practices regarding images depicting violence or statements that are offensive, and in roughly half the cases even the company admitted it should have done better.
