Eleven inmates considered "armed and dangerous" escaped a New Orleans jail Friday morning, the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office said. The inmates were discovered missing during a routine headcount conducted at 8:30 a.m. at the Orleans Parish Jail, according to the sheriff's office. They are believed to have escaped sometime just after midnight. New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said one inmate has since been apprehended in downtown New Orleans through facial recognition, caught by a surveillance camera. Police from the northern district on Friday evening captured four of the six terrorist prisoners who escaped from the Gilboa Prison at the start of the week. The two were captured near Nazareth and were detained without resistance. They are currently being interrogated and will be transferred to an Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) facility. Two men who were awaiting trial on unrelated murder charges when they escaped from a California jail early Sunday were arrested by federal officials Wednesday, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office said. Authorities have been searching for Aaron Davis Clark, 31; Victor Andrew Apodaca, 28, and Ricky Ramon Sena, 24, since they escaped Friday from a detention center in Clovis --- about 75 miles east of Albuquerque.
