The Lebanese daily Al-Nahar on Jan. 3, 2026, quoted Lebanese Brig.-Gen. (ret.) Wehbe Katicha as saying that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro provided Lebanese Hizbullah with 10,000 Venezuelan passports, some of which were used by officers of Syria's Assad regime to flee the country.

Maybe turn Maduro over to Israel and then his wish to get involved in Middle East politics will be rewarded.

Why hunt them down? Because the Assad regime protected Christians?
Maduro made no secret of his hatred for Israel and Netanyahu was afraid he would spread this anti Israel message to all of Latin America. It was known that pro Israel factions in the US were pushing for his removal and why some Venezuela officials were saying Maduro’s removal had a “Zionist tinge” to it.

About a month ago Israel was looking to participate in any bombings of Venezuela because of Hizbullah being protected in Venezuela by Maduro.
They probably have lots of intelligence on where they are.

Unfortunately, a Venezuelan passport wasn’t needed to get into the US under SloJo. However, that makes anyone with one suspect.
