TVNewser has an exclusive on the final fate of invisible Fox personality E.D. Hill today. Fox has decided not to renew E.D.'s contract, so she will be finally leaving the Fox News Channel after being off the air since June. Some may remember the left-media storm targeting E. D. Hill that occurred back on June 6 when she off handedly said that Barack and Michelle's on stage fist bump was a "terrorist fist jab." The Huffington Post and Media Matters raised a storm of protest and soon after, E.D. Hill lost her Fox show. Well, it seems to have...

Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires. SVP of Programming Bill Shine tells TVNewser that he "chose not to renew E.D.'s latest contract" but noted that "Hill has been a valued contributor to the success of FNC over the years, and we wish her all the best." E.D. Hill and her show, "America's Pulse" has been removed from her time slot at Fox, because of something she said in her news presentation . On June 6th last, on her former program, "America's Pulse," E.D. Hill teased in a segment about body-language about Obama's fist bump with his wife Michelle. Obama supporters and the leftist blogs on the web were in a rage and an uproar about the comments, and George Soros' "Media Matters" began a campaign encouraging people to contact Fox and complaint about what is in their view an unforgivable slight of Obama and Michelle. They...

Fox News anchor ED Hill has lost her show a week after suggesting Barack Obama and his wife Michelle's on-stage victory gesture could be seen as a "terrorist fist jab". Hill, the anchor of Fox News show America's Pulse, made the comment last Friday after Obama and his wife affectionately bumped fists before his victory speech on becoming the Democratic candidate for president. "A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? The gesture everyone seems to interpret differently," said Hill in her show. "We'll show you some interesting body communication and find out what it really says." According to...

The Fox News Channel shakes up its anchor roster a little today, with former WABC/ Ch. 7 correspondent E.D. Hill moving from "Fox & Friends" to the network's "Fox Live" anchor team. Former CBS News anchor Gretchen Carlson will take Hill's place as a co-host of the freewheeling morning show. "Gretchen's warm personality and dynamic energy are a perfect fit for 'Fox & Friends,'" Bill Shine, senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. Also starting today on FNC is "Live Desk With Martha MacCallum" at 1 p.m., replacing "Dayside," and a full hour of news with Jane Skinner...

by Mark Finkelstein July 24, 2006 Bill O'Reilly got his show off to a surprising start this afternoon, with a novel theory as to why the big-city newspapers have tread lightly in criticizing Israel for its role in the current conflict. O'Reilly theorized, during his opening monologue, that the papers are fearful of turning off Jewish liberal readers. As per Bill's theory, papers such as the NY and LA Times, Boston Globe and Washington Post have been taking big hits in readership and profitability. With Fox News Channel's ED Hill in the studio, O'Reilly continued: "liberal Jewish readers are all...

Wherever Jesse Jackson goes the media usually follow and on Tuesday the cable news networks highlighted his arrival outside the Florida hospice care facility holding Terri Schiavo, but the day Jackson took the side of those wishing to save Schiavo, and put a Democratic face with those on the side of her life, ABC's World News Tonight suddenly found the whole matter unnewsworthy. For the fist time in more than ten days, the newscast had no Schiavo story and didn't utter a syllable about Jackson, but Peter Jennings found time to pick up on a liberal cause celebre, abuse of...

I have never really been a fan of E.D. Hill on Fox and Friends. A lot of the time I find her popping off at the mouth and wonder if she even thinks before she speaks. Four days ago they were reporting the Kobe Bryant prelim hearing and the discussion encompassed the allegation by the defense that she had possibly slept with 4 different men over 2 different days. Now I know at the time the defense only made an allegation and did not present ANY evidence at the time to back the claim. But I was thinking "oh they...

Fox and Friends talking about the President yesterday. E.D.:"I'll tell you what, Laura has a hottie on her hands. Look how good he looks. We sound like a bunch of cheerleaders for him but he was fantastic! You could tell he looked so stoked and so excited to be there." Kilmeade: "They said Lincoln was a hottie too." Doocy:"If your a Democratic presidential candidate..maybe you should just join a lobbyist group for the next four years or something. Cause I don't think your going to be taking that man's job anytime soon."

"Good Morning America" it isn't. Nor is it the "Today" show or CBS's "Early Show." This is not your everyday feel-good, rise-and-shine TV show by any means. On Fox News Channel's weekday morning show, "Fox & Friends," they start out swinging. Just after coming on the air at 7 a.m. on Monday, for example, co-hosts E.D. Hill and Brian Kilmeade were off and galloping before the coffee was cold.SNIPThe audience for "Fox & Friends" has grown so large of late that it has begun to rival the broadcast networks' venerable morning shows. Its war-spiked Nielsens are now almost identical to what...

Just a few moments ago, the morning crew at Fox News was interviewing a wounded soldier from the Army Hospital in Germany and they showed him some footage of the couple dozen "die-in" protesters on Fifth Avenue in New York to get his reaction. When they set it up, the reporterette said, "You've got to keep in mind, Sargeant, that this group is organized by 'Anarchists and Communists,' 'The International Socialist Organization,' and 'Psycho Therapists against War.'" All three reporters took a shot at the inane, professionally-organized protest and the sargeant just shrugged and said somehing to the effect of...
