With the successful arrest, prosecution and sentencing of Joseph DeAngelo, Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert wanted to provide a voice to all those affected by the East Area Rapist. Several months ago, she invited those who lived in the Sacramento region during the 1970’s to email their stories to the DA’s Office. The response was overwhelming.
