DUNNELLON, Fla. - Authorities have issued a Florida Amber Alert for a missing 17-year-old Marion County boy who is believed to have been a victim in a shooting. What we know: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has issued an Amber Alert for 17-year-old Caden Speight of Marion County. Authorities said Speight was last seen in the 12800 block of Southwest Highway 484 in Dunnellon. The Marion County Sheriff's Office has confirmed to FOX 35 that deputies were investigating a shooting in the same area and believe Speight may be a victim.

DUNNELLON, Fla. - A Florida man was arrested after detectives say he purposely poisoned pets in his neighborhood using antifreeze. Marion County investigators arrested 36-year-old Jeremy Stromwall on aggravated animal cruelty charges. On Dec. 2, deputies responded to the 20100 block of Southwest 84th Lane in Dunnellon after receiving a report that a cat had possibly been poisoned. The pet owner, John Scharf, told investigators his cat, named "Mr. Cat," began acting sick and was having seizures the previous night. CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida woman was arrested Sunday after police say she walked into a Citrus County home and undressed herself before hugging and sitting on multiple people, including several who were 65 years or older. Police say Heather Cruz, 35, of Dunnellon, Fla., walked into the Citrus County home through a side door. Once inside, Cruz allegedly removed her clothing and exposed her genitalia before she grabbed and hugged the homeowner.
