A group of scientists has proposed building a giant space curtain to reduce global warming and shield Earth from solar radiation. Spanning as much as 4 million square kilometers, this megastructure aimed to fight “climate change” would be located about 1 million miles from Earth, in an area known as the Sun-Earth Lagrange-1 point, according to The Messenger, a news website launched in May. The point marks the area between the sun and the Earth where the combined gravitational forces of the star and planet create equilibrium that allows a spacecraft to be “parked,” according to Space.com. Upon installation, the...

The amazing thing about Politico's story on Thursday by global editor-in-chief John F. Harris and senior legal affairs reporter Josh Gerstein about a couple of Trump cases heading to the Supreme court is the lack of detailed discussions of the legal aspects involved in "John Roberts, Donald Trump and the ghosts of Bush v. Gore."Why? Because Harris and Gerstein are promoting the highly disingenuous idea that Chief Justice John Roberts, who they claim has a court credibility problem, should steer his fellow justices to deliver a split decision because of PR optics. I kid you not.

Nikki Haley is on the rise, looking for an upset that could derail former President Trump’s path to the Republican presidential nomination. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the New Hampshire primary is her best— and perhaps only — chance.Haley’s advance in the Granite State has been striking.A new American Research Group (ARG) poll released Thursday put Haley within 4 points of Trump in New Hampshire — a jaw-dropping result given that Trump has a lead of about 50 points in national polls. The ARG poll showed Trump with 33 percent support in New Hampshire and Haley at 29 percent, with...

Americans are strongly dissatisfied with the direction of the country and the economy. According to Gallup, just 19% of the public is satisfied with how things are going, compared with 80% who aren’t. Incredibly, consumer sentiment is lower now than it was during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. It’s easy to see why. Inflation remains elevated above pre-pandemic levels, meaning that real weekly earnings are down by more than 4% since January 2021. Rising interest rates have caused the median mortgage payment to double over the same period. In a good economy, hardworking Americans steadily get ahead as income gains...

At this point, Democrats aren't even trying to hide the fact they are out to destroy the country. Oregon proposed a law allowing homeless people to sue municipalities for as much as $1,000 per violation as part of a new initiative to decriminalize homelessness. House Bill 3501, known as the Right to Rest Act, would allow homeless individuals o use public spaces in "the same manner as any other person" without discrimination for their housing status, despite residents expressing frustration over the impending safety and hygienic issue. Homeless people could also be awarded up to $1,000 if they are "harassed"...

A federal judge in Illinois has granted a temporary injunction blocking the enforcement of a gun law which bans some semiautomatic rifles as well as high-capacity magazines. United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois judge Stephen Patrick McGlynn issued the ruling Friday afternoon, stating that the court "must be mindful of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution." On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Biden 2024 Co-Chair Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) answered a question on how the campaign will handle concerns about President Joe Biden’s age by stating that Biden has “a deep reservoir of knowledge, of experience, and relationships. And that’s why his leadership on responding to the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine has been so successful, so agile, so capable, because of that experience.”
