Democrats’ Obsession with Abortion Failed to Deliver Harris Victory
Breitbart ^ | 11/06/2024 | Katherine Hamilton

Kamala Harris, and Democrats overall, made killing unborn babies in abortions the center of their campaigns in 2024 — a move that did not end up galvanizing enough pro-abortion voters to deliver Harris a victory over now-President-elect Donald Trump.

Democrats pulled out all the stops: allowing free abortions outside the DNC, fear-mongering about miscarriage care, putting abortion measures on the ballot in ten states, trotting out pro-abortion celebrities, touring the nation promising to restore Roe and championing abortion throughout pregnancy. But in the face of a floundering economy and a porous southern border, abortion did not end up being a strong enough issue to tip the scales in Democrats’ favor.

How odd that wanting to kill the unborn and hating the orange man are not enough to convince people to vote for you. I’m perplexed.

Most people have accepted that abortion is a state issue now.

What hurt Harris was the constant lies that Trump (or whichever GOP candidate) would ban abortion. By hitting this drumbeat relentlessly while not talking about solutions made people think Harris did not have any plans and did not care to fix the problems.

People remember that Biden/Harris told us that inflation was not an issue or that it was transitory, etc. They often told the public not to believe what they were experiencing.

It was the greatest act of disinformation while they talked about the need for gov’t to control disinformation.

Wow a full 11. I saw too many comments online in many forums saying abortion is not paying the bills, affording housing and food, or paying down debt.

This is the last abortion election. The issue has been turned over to the states and think most have dealt with it. It will never be a high value national issue again. If the democrats stay on that train, it won’t be a profitable ride.

For life of me I will never understand the absolute inappropriate giddiness they have about abortion under any circumstance. Even if you believe in it, it’s a solemn solemn sad event. Giddy? Not natural

I think most women that support abortion, (with the exception of the most radical pro-abortion leftist), have seen the repeal of Roe was really a nothing burger, in most states little changed, and some states even expanded abortion laws. So for them it’s really a non-issue anymore.

I think it was a fake issue for a fake candidate.

There was never even really a campaign, here, for Biden or Harris.

There was only the cheat, and they didn’t have it in them.

One of the significant Leftist traits is their propensity to have a top-down definition of what voters should be concerned about. It was pleasurable to see it bite them on the ass. I saw someone say the first rule of propaganda is not to believe your own propaganda.

When I say top down, it starts with the Democrat leadership, and is disseminated through the media and entertainment into the sheeple who unthinkingly follow them.

These two graphics below were from a poll of conservative and liberal voters from the 2020 election, asking them what their top 12 concerns were as they entered the voting booth.

These are the top 12 conservative voter concerns back in 2020:

I don't think I would be alone at looking at this graphic above, and thinking that these concerns are sober, reasonable, and based in reality. If someone told me these were their concerns, I would conclude they are somewhat rational, have their priorities set correctly, and are well tuned into what is going on around them.

Compare that to the top 12 Liberal voter concerns shown below:

Their number one concern was Donald Trump Supporters. Right off the bat, you might blink and say "What the Hell?" It isn't until #5 "Americans lacking Health Care Coverage" until I get even a twitch of something I could agree on, and not a SINGLE other issue is even close to something I see as important, except perhaps "Voter Suppression", but only because I don't define "Voter Suppression the same way they do. (I define it as the result of Leftist policies that dilute the legitimacy of all votes)

I view their concerns as being emotionally based, irrational, and formulated in the minds of people who are unable to think for themselves and can only regurgitate what has been indoctrinated into them.

I won't deny that, when I saw these results, my heart quailed for the future of my country. If we could not carry this election, I have had trouble seeing how we could co-exist with these people who not only live on another planet, they live in another dimension.

I never understood how abortion became such a major women's issue. The women aren't really the beneficiaries at all. They are the ones who have to suffer the indignity of having their babies forcibly removed from their bodies and slaughtered.

Abortion is really for the convenience of men.

When abortions are easy to get, men get to have indiscrimate sex with women and never have to face the consequences. If their female partner gets pregnant, they just hand her a few hundred dollars and have her go through the horrible procedure.

The men never have to face up to fatherhood and the responsibilities that go with it. They simply move on to their next female partner and repeat the same dreadful cycle.

The women love to call abortion "women's rights" but it's really more about "men's rights."

Easy abortion allows men to use women for their sexual gratification without the attendant consequences of the women getting with child, forcing the man to take the responsibility of supporting them.

Agreed.

But liberal women and men are idiots and so in the next election, when dems have nothing of value to offer, they will likely bring it up again.

I think many dimwits still think it’s outlawed by the SCOTUS.

If Rs pass a ban on abortion at the federal level, then it will become an issue.

I think Trump said that he would not support a federal ban.

Most issue polls make the mistake of missing some really important issues—even if they allow “blanks” for other issues to be chosen.

One “hidden issue” that I think is big is Intimidation.

It is the notion that you must remain silent on a variety of topic in many environments or be harmed in some way.

Some folks call it “cancel culture” or it could be “doxxing” or it could just be top down “workplace groupthink”.

An example was silencing of anti—vaxxers or Trump supporters and the treatment of any dissenting view as a “conspiracy theory” or people who questioned the 2020 election results called “election deniers” etc etc etc.

Another version—you could be attacked as “racist” or “homophobic” or “transphobic” if you object to any element of DEI.

It is awful, horrible and has gotten much worse for most people in recent years.

This is particularly nasty for blue collar workers who feel they have been intimidated and silenced by white collar people with more power than they have.

Properly framed with reasonable solutions to mitigate it could be a big winning future issue.

These women …. Always so focused on the power of women and how somehow having a child takes away from that. These women end up the opposite — ultimately retired and the alone, without families, long after the powerful career is over. Most often divorced as well. I don’t u derstand truly how they feel this enhances their lives?

There were a lot of childless cat ladies basing their vote on abortion, but there were also a lot more women with children, especially young girls, that didn’t want them playing against bearded guys on the girls teams.

[Democrats’ Obsession with SATANIC Abortion Failed to Deliver Harris Victory]

Fixed it.

Democrat Kamala Harris FREAKED OUT when somebody said "JESUS IS LORD!" - the two Christians said they were hurried out, cursed at, mocked. They were in the lion's den with Kamala Harris and followers at their Satanic Abortion Rally. Dangerous ground with Reprobate goats. I'm glad that they got out unharmed.

Do NO harm Christians but pray, pray, pray!!!
