Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) unleashed a blistering takedown of the Democratic Party in the wake of its dramatic spate of losses on Election Day.
“It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them,” the Democratic socialist said in a fiery statement on X.
“First, it was the white working class, and now it is Latino and Black workers as well. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.”
Sanders regurgitated his well-worn talking points about the rich “doing phenomenally well” amid tough economic conditions for the working class.
“We continue to spend billions funding the extremist Netanyahu government’s all-out war against the Palestinian people,” he added.

He ran in the Democratic Party primaries twice … and both times, he dropped out and hitched his wagon to the very corporate/government puppets he’s now complaining about.

In a way, Bolshevik Bernie is right. The Democrats wrongly assumed that the working class would continue accept what political mush their masters would feed them.
But Bolshevik Bernie is wrong in that he thinks the recipe of the mush just has to be changed. No, Bernie. That mush is toxic, and had to be thrown out completely.
