Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) became the first Republican congressman to accuse President Donald Trump of engaging in “impeachable conduct,” citing findings laid out in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on now-debunked collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

McCain was awarded the National Constitution Center’s Liberty Medal Monday. Many speakers at the event decried what they see as a rejection of America’s role as a world leader. PHILADELPHIA—U.S. Sen. John McCain jabbed Monday night at unnamed pushers of isolationist politics, saying at his National Constitution Center Liberty Medal ceremony in Philadelphia that abandoning America’s role as an international leader is “unpatriotic.” The six-term Republican senator from Arizona made the remarks after receiving the award for a lifetime of service and sacrifice to the country.....

Tabloid titan Jimmy Breslin — the cigar-chomping, hard-nosed newspaperman who won the Pulitzer Prize for his Daily News’ columns championing ordinary New Yorkers — has died, according to two friends of his family. He was 86. The cause of death was not immediately released. The curmudgeonly ink-stained wretch — whose velvety and witty writing style uplifted the downtrodden and eviscerated the scoundrels — crafted scores of columns for The News, Newsday, the New York Herald Tribune and New York Journal American.

If you thought there was something fishy about the way the mainstream media kept trying to tell you that Hillary Clinton's election was a foregone conclusion, you were right: NBC’s Chuck Todd confessed that he and others in the mainstream news media played down just how despised Hillary Clinton was in the heartland due to the fear of appearing “sexist.” What’s more, he admitted, the mainstream media failed to “tell the stories of all Americans.” “Where I think political correctness got in the way of what we all knew as reporters and didn’t fully deliver was how hated the Clintons were...

Brittany Daughenbaugh couldn't sleep, so the Capital University student decided to go on a Pokemon Go hunt in the early hours of Thursday morning. She had seen the men across Francis Street but paid them no mind. She was on the trail of a good catch. "Suddenly, they're behind me," Daughenbaugh, 20, said Monday. One man wore a "Make America Great Again" hat and the other a "Trump-Pence" sweatshirt. She said the sweatshirted man grabbed her arm and told her, "Don't you worry, honey. President Trump says this is OK." He then punched her in the face and the arm....

Donna Brazile fired back at her former employer, saying CNN ripped her “a new one” instead of letting her defend herself against leaked emails showing she gave Hillary Clinton a sneak peak at debate questions. “I wish CNN had given me some other things, like the ability to defend myself rather than ripping me a new one,” Brazile said at a Monday event at Hollins University, according to the Roanoke Times. “CNN never gave me a question,” Brazile said of her resignation. Brazile, who is the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, revealed that she’s still feeling pain over...

The mother who posted a photograph of her chance meeting with Hillary Clinton in the woods after the Democrat's election defeat says she has been getting death threats and now wants the story to 'go away'. Margot Gerster, 30, told the New York Post she has received death threats since the picture went viral. When the Post contacted her she simply replied 'yes' when asked about the threats but said she didn't want to talk about it anymore. She also told the paper: 'This story needs to go away. It got a lot of positive feedback from a lot of...

If House Speaker Paul Ryan’s own Facebook page is any indication of how well he will fare in next Tuesday’s all-important primary race against upstart challenger Paul Nehlen, it might not be smooth sailing for the 16-year incumbent come Election Day. In fact, Ryan’s campaign is showing signs of “melting down,” at least if social media is to be taken as a barometer. The level of antipathy toward Ryan on his two Facebook sites has been heating up in recent days as the election draws closer. “There’s such a deluge of comments negative to Paul Ryan on Ryan’s own Facebook...

I'll take "History's greatest rip-offs for $200," Alex. The correct question is "What did Mike Pressler just do to Duke University and how much should he be paid?" Pressler, the former Dukelacrosse coach who was forced out after three of his players were falsely accused of sexually assaulting a woman, reached a settlement with the university last week after dropping a lawsuit that he was unlikely to win anyway. Neither side is discussing the terms, but if Duke paid that guy more than $200 to go away, they got taken.
