Police in Loveland arrested a suspect wanted in connection with "offensive" vandalism and incendiary device incidents at a Tesla dealership in Northern Colorado. Lucy Grace Nelson was arrested just before midnight on Monday. Investigators said that Nelson, 40, returned to Loveland Tesla while in possession of additional incendiary devices along with materials attributed to vandalism on Monday evening. Detectives said they were able to apprehend Nelson before more damage occurred.

Dozens of Oakland public school teachers took part in a pro-Palestine teach-in on Wednesday despite a warning from the district that the curriculum was not approved. The "From Gaza to Oakland" teach-in was organized by several members of the Oakland Education Association, who said it was a chance to expose students to diverse viewpoints and teach them about the human tragedy in Gaza. "As a Jewish teacher, this is a very important issue for me," said organizer and substitute teacher Judy Greenspan. "We feel that OUSD has been very one-sided and has leaned very heavily on the Israeli educational lobby."...

A couple dudes want to cool the planet by releasing balloons filled with sulfur dioxide. They say they got ‘OKs to launch’ from officials; officials say otherwise. Controversial solar geoengineering startup Make Sunsets says it released three balloons carrying atmosphere-altering particles in Reno, Nevada, this month. It’s an escalation of the company’s questionable climate change-fighting tactics, which got it banned from launching balloons in Mexico in January.
