A Japanese man who spent more than $20,000 to become a dog has finally taken his first walk and immediately made some canine friends. Known only as Toco, the man spent two million Yen (A$22,000) on a hyperrealistic border collie costume to fulfil his lifelong dream of “becoming an animal”. Ever wanted to be a dog ? Japanese company Zeppet Workshop will turn you into one... for the right price. Taking the idea of roleplaying one step further than anyone thought possible, the company, which specializes in special effects and modeling, hit the headlines back in 2022 when it was revealed that it had created an ultra-realistic Collie costume for a customer who wanted to become a dog. Footage of the client wearing the costume (see below), which reportedly cost around $15,000, quickly went viral. She famously entered the world of the paranormal when, while working as reporter for a small Wisconsin newspaper in 1991, she heard reports of a strange werewolf-like creature that had been spotted in the area. A man has bizarrely claimed he was stalked by a terrifying “dog man” monster in the Australian outback – and even says he has picture “proof”. The fisherman, called John, wildly claims he was left “petrified for a month” after encountering the supposed “half-dog, half-human creature” on two separate occasions. Speaking on the Believe: Paranormal & UFO Podcast, the Aussie insisted he was “followed” by what he has branded a “dog man” – and claims he “thought he was going to be killed”.

I am not going to make any comment on these three stories other than to say, I was simultaneously creeped out and entertained. Whether you believe this stuff or not this is worth a listen just for the third and last story.
