Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy head to Capitol Hill on Thursday to discuss their newly-announced advisory team that the two billionaires say will cut regulations, spending, and headcounts within the federal government. The Department of Government Efficiency, or “Doge” - seemingly a winking reference to Musk’s cryptocurrency of choice, dogecoin - was first announced by Donald Trump last month. “It will become, potentially, 'The Manhattan Project' of our time,” the president-elect wrote on his social media platform, referring to a top-secret World War Two programme to develop nuclear weapons. “Republican politicians have dreamed about the objectives of “DOGE” for a...

"Anytime the public thinks we are cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know!" Musk said in part in the X post. Musk also said all the department's actions "will be posted online for maximum transparency." "We will also have...

President-elect Donald Trump has officially named Elon Musk to head the newly created 'Department of Government Efficiency.' Trump put out a press release Tuesday night saying that Musk will co-lead the 'Manhattan Project of our time' with former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Republicans have long complained about government over-spending and Trump touted that DOGE will accomplish its goals by July 4, 2026. 'A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence,' he wrote. 'I am confident they will succeed!' Musk and Ramaswamy have...

Kabosu, the dog behind the "doge" meme, has died after 14 years of internet fame, her owner has said. The Japanese shiba inu inspired a generation of online jokes and became the face of Dogecoin cryptocurrency. She had been suffering from leukaemia and liver disease and died on 24 May. "She quietly passed away as if asleep while I caressed her," Atsuko Sato wrote on her blog, thanking Kabosu's fans. "I think Kabo-chan was the happiest dog in the world. And I was the happiest owner." As a rescue dog, Kabosu's real birthday was unknown, but Ms Sato estimated her...

As long as you don’t eat much due to expensive food prices or drive anywhere due to high gasoline prices. At least the Biden Administration is doing what The New World Order is making them do. Or The Liberal World Order. Biden looks like...

Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter will see substantial changes implemented on the social media platform with everything from longer tweets and paid subscriptions using 'joke' cryptocurrency Dogecoin all within the realm of possibility. He is said to favor temporary 'timeouts' for users who break the new rules, rather than permanent bans such as those given to Donald Trump. . . . Details of his immediate plans are slim, but the Tesla chief portrays himself as a free-speech absolutist. Other mooted changes include blue verification checkmarks for anyone who subscribes to Twitter's premium Blue service, which costs $2.99 a month.Musk is...

Elon Musk took the Studio 8H stage over the weekend for his Saturday Night Live hosting debut and, as many expected, there was a lot of cryptocurrency talk. The controversial tech mogul had fans and critics debating the choice to tap him as a host in the lead-up to Saturday’s episode. However, one of the biggest questions was whether or not he’d mention Dogecoin, the satirical cryptocurrency that has skyrocketed in the wake of his repeated online endorsements. As it turns out, Dogecoin — and cryptocurrency in general — actually played a prominent role in the episode. Apart from a...

SNIP Johnson recalled the rapper asking her to tell Trump, “I appreciate what you’ve done for some of our brothers, even if you don’t release Mr. Harris.” “He asked me to convey that message to the president. I was able to convey that message to the White House about two weeks ago,” she said.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has a message for President Trump and his aides: “I love what they did,” he said in granting clemency to Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry O” Harris. Harris learned Tuesday that he will be released early from prison on Trump’s orders, though the White House has not yet publicly said so. The music and marijuana mogul was told of the decision Sunday and said he wanted to share a message with the outgoing president. “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out,” Snoop Dogg said in remarks shared with The Post....

Incarcerated computer legend John McAfee says he’s stunned by the price of Dogecoin. Speaking from behind bars in a Spanish jail after being banged up on charges of cryptocurrency fraud and tax evasion, the 75-year-old was apparently shocked to hear the crypto hailed by Elon Musk and Snoop Dogg was now changing hands for as much as 30 cents a unit. “There are a few inmates that speak English well enough for John to have conversations with so that has helped him to not feel so isolated,” she said. McAfee hinted earlier this year that it was his involvement with...
