President Trump was supposed to be on this Amtrack train to Greenbriar, but for some reason he was not. The train was headed to the Greenbriar in Virginia for a retreat on Republican strategy. I find this very suspicious. The truck was sitting on the tracks, and now the driver is deceased. Most are tweeting they are ok, but there were some injured. This happened outside Charlottesville, Virginia. The person in the truck has been pronounced dead. Senator Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) who was on the train assisted those injured. Two others from the truck were injured.

A week after U.S. forces pulled out of Iraq, Iran has announced its willingness to expand its military and security links with Baghdad. The AFP reports Iranian General Hassan Firouzabadi praised the "forced departure" of U.S. troops, saying it ""was due to the resistance and determination of the Iraqi people and the government."

BAGHDAD – Three U.S. service members were killed Wednesday in southern Iraq, adding to an already deadly month for U.S. forces here. The deaths, reported early Thursday by the Defense Department, come six months before most American forces are scheduled to withdraw from the country. President Barack Obama has ditched US plans to return to the moon and hitched NASA's future to private industry in a budget calling for the space agency to stay close to Earth and do research. In budget proposals for NASA, Obama proposed increasing funding for the space agency by AU$6.7 billion over five years.
