The group behind the suspected Russian attack into U.S. government agencies and private companies was able to hack into Microsoft's internal systems and access some of the company's source code, the tech giant said in a blog post on Thursday. The Department of Defense granted Dmitri Alperovitch, the co-founder of cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, the status of a special government employee in 2013, a Pentagon spokesperson confirmed to The Epoch Times. CrowdStrike is the company (headed by a Ukrainian national) that inspected the DNC servers. No member of law enforcement (FBI etc) was allowed to inspect the servers. Instead, CrowdStrike prepared a report that's been the sole basis for the "Russians hacked the DNC" story. In this exchange, reference is made to Panda. We now know that "Panda" was a frequent nickname of Seth Rich. He would cheer up co-workers dressing as a Panda. He used "Panda" in several email accounts (Pandas4Progress was one of many).

The key to all of this is the Atlantic Council. The vehemently anti-russian think tank that Dr. Farkas is a senior fellow. Most people think that the FBI analyzed the DNC servers and came to the conclusion based on their analysis that Russia hacked the DNC. That is not true. The DNC refused to let the FBI look at their servers. Instead the DNC hired a private company, Crowdstrike, to do an analysis of their servers. It was Crowdstrike that concluded that Russia hacked the DNC. They then turned over those findings to the FBI. If this sounds incredibly shady...
