Abrams said she is still watching and trying to decide if she wants to enter the race, adding she is confident she could enter the race “as late as the fall and still have a chance to win.”

Democrats will not negotiate with President Donald Trump to end the partial government shutdown – because Trump is an “amoral hostage-taker”- Hawaii Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono declared Thursday. Hirono said Trump “doesn’t give a rat” about what’s right or wrong, so he’s holding 800,000 federal employees hostage by shutting down the government to “get his vanity wall”:

Tuesday night, President Trump delivered a powerful speech from the Oval Office regarding the need for strong border security. During the speech, Trump laid out specific facts explaining why the country needs to secure the border and how his plan would accomplish this. According to Fox News, at one point during the speech, Trump directly addressed his colleagues, stating, "Wealthy politicians ... don't build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside."
