In an 8-1 decision, the US Supreme Court ruled that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has the authority to defend the state's law against live-dismemberment abortions. The ruling reversed a 6th Circuit Court decision that "a State Attorney General lacks the authority to take action counter to the wishes of the current Governor." Writing for the majority, Justice Alito said that "defending the state's laws is an independent function of the state's Attorney General. The fact that the current governor disagrees with a law enacted prior to his administration is not a valid reason for trying to negate its defense...

Twenty state attorneys general submitted a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday supporting Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s efforts to defend a law banning brutal dismemberment abortions. WYMT News reports Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich led the amicus brief, which argues that a lower court was wrong in refusing to allow Cameron to defend the law. The brief accused a Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals panel of usurping the rights of the people of Kentucky “through procedural machinations.” “The threats to these sovereign interests are particularly acute in this case,” the attorneys general wrote in the brief. “The...

Monica Cline, a sexual health education instructor who worked with Planned Parenthood, revealed that the organization's push to expand sex education to elementary schools was "a marketing strategy. It used to be that the main focus of sex education in high schools was aimed at discouraging students from engaging in sex. Heavy emphasis was placed on the health risks and socio-economic consequences of unwanted pregnancies. But Planned Parenthood's focus was on teaching grade school aged students how to have sex." Planned Parenthood spokesperson Adora Slaughter defended the organization's elementary school initiative as "a normal business practice. In our free market...

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas spoke out against dismemberment abortions Friday, saying that justices must confront the realities of what the Supreme Court “has wrought” through abortion rulings. In a concurring opinion, Thomas spoke on an Alabama law against dismemberment abortion after the Supreme Court declined to hear the case on Friday. The justice said that it is “implausible” that the Constitution would protect the dismemberment of a living child. The case was Harris v. West Alabama Women’s Center. Thomas described the dismemberment abortion process, saying that the more developed a child is, “the more likely an abortion will involve...

On Tuesday, in a bipartisan vote, the Pennsylvania legislature passed a ban on D&E abortion, also known as dismemberment abortion. In a D&E abortion, a preborn child is literally ripped by a metal instrument, limb from limb. Former abortionist, Dr. Anthony Levatino, describes D&E abortion in the animated video below: **VIDEO ON LINK** Men and women who commit abortion procedures of all kinds are on record describing the violence and brutality of each of them. One of these abortionists, Leroy Carhart, gave his testimony on D&E (dismemberment) abortion to the U.S. Supreme Court. D&E abortion is the most common second...

A man walking his dog on a British Columbia beach this week made a grisly discovery: A foot in a shoe, along with part of a lower leg. Adding to the mystery is that it is the 13th foot to wash up on the Canadian province's coastline over the past decade. "Our early analysis suggests these are human remains and we will do further investigation and testing ... in the coming weeks," said Andy Watson, a spokesman for the BC Coroners Service, about the Thursday discovery. The remains included a tibia and fibula. The Coroners Service said all previous 12...

A bill to protect unborn babies from brutal dismemberment abortions appears likely to pass the Pennsylvania legislature this December with bipartisan support. However, pro-abortion Gov. Tom Wolf has promised to veto it. Beth Melena, a spokeswoman for the state Democratic Party, told CNHI newspapers that Wolf “is the only reason” why Pennsylvania does not already ban dismemberment abortions. Pennsylvania Senate Bill 3 passed the state Senate and is now awaiting action by the full House. It would prohibit dismemberment abortions that tear apart living unborn babies limb by limb while their hearts are beating. The bill also would prohibit abortions...

Of all the indefensible claims made by abortionists, there are some that apparently even they can’t bring themselves to take seriously — or argue in court. Take, for example, the abortion lobby’s allegations against the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, a law now being enforced in 15 states and with a national version set to come up for a vote in the House of Representatives next week. The measure has been on the books since Nebraska passed the first such law in 2010, protecting from abortion any unborn babies old enough to feel the pain of having their arms and legs ripped...

Dream last night’s presidential debate, pro-abortion presidential candidate Hillary Clinton denied the brutality of abortion. She called Donald Trump’s statement that she favors ripping unborn babies from the womb a scare tactic. ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT “I think it’s terrible if you go with what Hillary is saying in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now you can say that that’s okay and Hillary can say that that’s okay, but it’s not okay with me. Because based on what she’s saying...

President Barack Obama told a group of young African leaders on Monday that harvesting organs from humans that are killed as part of an African ritual was “craziness” and a “cruel” tradition that needed to stop. He warned of dehumanizing marginal groups of humans and of the problems that arise when “you are not able to see someone else as a human being.” In a wide-ranging question and answer session with members of the Young African Leaders Initiative [YALI], a woman from Kenya said “Persons with albinism in Africa are being killed and their body parts harvested for ritual...

Kansas could be the first state to outlaw a certain type of abortion commonly used during the second trimester of pregnancy. A bill banning what's known as the "Dilation and Evacuation" procedure, commonly known as partial birth abortion, passed Friday in the Kansas Senate. The abortion method, which includes extracting the fetus in pieces, was described by lawmakers supporting the bill as "gruesome" and "barbaric." Another state senator said it's "unimaginable that such a procedure could be used by a medical practicioner." The measure is expected to pass in the Republican-controlled state House of Representatives then gain the signature of...

Hitler's Muslim Nephew Comes to New York September 24, 2007 FrontPageMagazine.com Kenneth R. Timmerman What was New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg thinking? Apparently the former Democrat believed that escorting Iran’s Hitler-wannabe president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to the site of the September 11 memorial at Ground Zero would generate a terrific photo op. “Here I am with world leaders,” that type of thing. After all, Bloomberg has already made his appearance at the “World Leaders Forum” at Columbia University, so he was in the zone. And last year, U.S. News & World Report crowned him as one of America’s “best leaders.” But...
