  • Time To Sell Your Property In Tonga Before It's Too Late

Considering the closeness the island of Tonga is to the active volcano, "Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai", I suggest anyone who lives in Tonga to truly consider selling their property and flee the island. Even if they stay, at least sell your property while you still can. I say this because all evidence is pointing to an eruption that, even if it is not as powerful as Krakatoa was in 1883, it will still be powerful enough to wipe out the islands which is only 30 miles away. Now even if the volcano does not completely destroy it, then ensuing tsunami will. Does anyone...

In this video, the photographer begins at street level - with tsunami sirens wailing - before being forced to retreat up some stairs as the water rises and cars, boats, and even buildings go crashing past. Eventually the whole city seems to be washing away right before your eyes. The destruction caused by the tsunami may rival that of Hiroshima and Nagasakii when Truman dropped the bombs to end WWII, but when the final tally is figured, this will be far more devastating to Japan. Even before the earthquake and tsunami, many experts were already speculating that Japan's financial...

FOR three days last month, China’s national flag flew at half-staff in Tiananmen Square to honor the victims of the devastating earthquake in Sichuan. It was the first time in memory that China has publicly commemorated the deaths of ordinary civilians. Crowds were allowed to gather in the square to express sympathy for their compatriots. Despite a death toll that has risen to nearly 70,000, the earthquake has shaken the nation back to life. The Chinese people have rushed to donate blood and money and join the rescue efforts. They have rediscovered their civic responsibility and compassion. Their grief, shock...

What about simply staging a 30 day boycott of offshore oil? I read a report that said in the first 10 months of 2004, we used 20.4 million bbl/d (barrels per day). So, in a years time let's just say 24 million bbl/d. If we divide that by 12 months, we use 2 million bbl a month. (rough estimation) With 700 million barrels of oil in the reserve, we would hardly put a dent in our reserves, and at the current price of oil ($66.60 per barrel averaged of 4 oil providers on Sept 2 at 730am PST according to...
