Detransitioners’ lawsuits against the medical systems that hurt them could finally undo the industry’s embrace of transgenderism.Gender ideology is unraveling. It’s fraud all the way down. There is no good evidence that “transitioning” helps anyone, especially children. And people are realizing that the entire premise — that a boy can somehow be born into a female body, or vice versa — is superstitious nonsense. Indeed, transgender ideology is so insane that the coalition against it ranges from conservative Christians to lesbian feminists. Transgender ideology has many enemies, but the most effective are those who have been victimized by wrongly named...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Education Secretary Linda McMahon met with a group of detransitioners Wednesday to discuss how schools, teachers, administrators, and others play a major role in pushing young, vulnerable students toward irreversible gender transition procedures.McMahon met with the detransitioners at the Department of Education headquarters in recognition of DeTrans Awareness Day to talk about the pervasiveness of gender ideology, how America’s schools are often a breeding ground for coaxing children into believing they are a different gender than they really are, and what the department can do about it.“We were honored yesterday to welcome this group to the Department...

Last month, Simon Price graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. But his last semester in school turned into an ugly scene after he was assigned a project for a class called "Songwriting and Social Change." The project was to put together a public event about a social issue the student felt passionate about. White other students did projects about homelessness and eating disorders, Price decided he would talk about his own experience living as a trans person for 3 years before detransitioning. In middle school, my peers targeted me with homophobic bullying. They called me slurs, threatened me,...

How does the transgender ideology driving permanently body-altering “treatments” affect real people who regret their transitions? One detransitioner told her tragic story as a victim of the woke insanity prioritized over science and truly compassionate care. One theme among detransitioners is that they identified as transgender during a point in puberty when they were uncomfortable with their changing bodies. Instead of being encouraged to embrace their bodies, they were encouraged to believe that they should masquerade as the opposite sex and cut off body parts. Some of them were even told that they inevitably would commit suicide or experience other...

A 20-year-old woman has accused Planned Parenthood of rushing her into a gender transition when she was 18, leaving her with lifelong side effects. Cristina Hineman has filed a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest single provider of abortion, contraception, reproductive care, and sex education. The organization has in recent years also become a leading provider of gender transition hormones for young adults, offering the service at more than 400 locations. At least 40,000 patients have gone to Planned Parenthood for hormone treatment this year. Hineman claims she was given a prescription for testosterone following a 30-minute consultation with...

The NHS is to launch its first ever service for trans patients wanting to return to the gender in which they were born. It comes in the wake of the Cass Review, an independent report into transgender services, which found children were being hurried down “affirmative” pathways involving powerful drugs and medical interventions. The report made a series of recommendations to the NHS, including to provide care for trans patients who had changed their mind after transitioning, and warned health leaders not to use the same medics who were previously involved in their care.

Denial of reality can turn hospitals into charnel houses for children’s bodies and homes into haunted houses. If the Americans Mary Margaret Olohan writes about in Detrans weren’t victims of Democrats, their plight would be all over Hollywood, “60 Minutes,” PBS, and all the rest. There’s more than enough in the stories of young Americans reverting transgender body modifications and personas to attract entire teams of investigative reporters and creatives for years. It’s at least as big as the Big Tobacco lawsuits, the abortion industry, the Oxycontin scandals, and child sex trafficking. This lack of curiosity in a deep and dramatic story...

"Generation Indoctrination," a groundbreaking new podcast, recently delved into the harrowing experiences of individuals who have undergone body-deforming trans procedures, only to regret their decisions and pursue detransitioning. The fifth episode of season 3, hosted by The Christian Post's Brandon Showalter and titled "In Their Own Words: Detransitioners, Advocates Decry Deceptions Of 'Gender-Affirming Care," shed light on the profoundly personal and societal challenges faced by detransitioners.Forrest Smith, a young man from Oregon, shared how, at the age of 20, he was prescribed cross-sex hormones and, over the next five years, underwent a series of irreversible body-mutilating surgeries, including breast implants...

Grace Powell was 12 or 13 when she discovered she could be a boy. Growing up in a relatively conservative community in Grand Rapids, Mich., Powell, like many teenagers, didn’t feel comfortable in her own skin. She was unpopular and frequently bullied. Puberty made everything worse. She suffered from depression and was in and out of therapy. “I felt so detached from my body, and the way it was developing felt hostile to me,” Powell told me. It was classic gender dysphoria, a feeling of discomfort with your sex. Reading about transgender people online, Powell believed that the reason she...

They’re the stories that you’re not supposed to talk about in today’s woke society lest the trans activists swoop in and have you canceled for “hate speech” or whatever. Gender-confused children and many adults are “transitioning” in record numbers and bringing in a fortune for the medical industry in the process. But what happens to those who come to regret their decision and want to return to their natural gender? They are the detransitioners, and it happens more than you might suspect if you only listen to the mainstream media. Most of their stories are tragic, but also very educational...

A documentary detailing the lives of several individuals who transitioned and then de-transitioned was scrapped by AMC Theatres after pro-transgender activists launched a campaign to stop it from screening. According to the New York Post, AMC canceled showings of the film “No Way Back: The Reality of Gender-Affirming Care” after it “caved” to the demands of a trans group called Queer Trans Project. (Courtesy of Dhillon Law Group) A hospital and doctors in California are facing a new lawsuit for removing the breasts of a 13-year-old girl after she claimed she was a boy. De-transitioned teen sues over double mastectomy at age 13. (Credit: Fox News) This is a horrendous account, which I doubt will be the last of its kind. An 18-year-old de-transitioned victim has filed a lawsuit accusing a hospital and medical group of “intentional fraud and concealment” for a double mastectomy she underwent at just 13 after she first identified as transgender at age 11.As reported by Fox News, Layla Jane is suing Permanente Medical Group and subsidiary Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (headquartered in super-woke California), the medical providers who performed the double mastectomy. Moreover, Jane alleged in an interview that...

Health providers won’t help detransitioners who seek to undo the damage of transgender surgery and hormones. After being swarmed by health providers who enabled her to medically transition as a minor, Prisha Mosley now says she’s been abandoned by the medical community as she attempts to navigate a complicated and painful detransition.“I was under the impression that my doctors, who were transitioning me, loved me. They said they didn’t want me to die, they were saving my life, they were worried about me, and they wanted me to be healthy and happy,” Prisha told me. “Clearly, they don’t love me. As...

BEAVERTON, OR — Third-grade teacher Ms. Gaywood (she/her) became frustrated during the first day back from the holiday break when she discovered half her students had detransitioned and were no longer identifying as made-up genders. "You were all beautiful specks of uncompromising individuality, and now you're conforming to a heteronormative, patriarchal society," a frustrated Gaywood complained to the group of children who had been fearfully and wonderfully made as unique individuals in the image of God. "What happened?" Students who had relapsed into a toxic heteronormative lifestyle admitted they weren't sure how to act as anything other than who they...

"I haven't found one person that actually has gender dysphoria," Walt Heyer said. "I have found that they have generalized dysphoria." Walt Heyer, one of the first transgender women when he transitioned four decades ago, has long since transitioned back to male. Today he rejects the notion that there can be a transgender person, arguing a person struggling with gender dysphoria almost always an underlying issue. "People who identify this way are struggling with either bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, body dysmorphia, depression, or some underlying comorbid issue," Heyer said on "The New Foundation for American Greatness," a Just the News special...

A recent paper takes on 5 key faulty assumptions behind "gender-affirming" interventions for youth The highly medicalized approach to managing gender distress in youth, integral to the “gender-affirmative” care model, rests on several key assumptions. Publications promoting “gender affirmation” of youth fail to explicitly call out these assumptions—or misrepresent these problematic assumptions as proven facts. A recent publication by J. Cohn examines several key assumptions that underlie an influential “pro-affirmation” paper published by the prestigious journal, Nature. These assumptions permeate much of the “gender-affirming” literature more generally, including the most recent publication co-authored by the same author (RosenthaVl). Cohn critically...
