NY AG Seeks Ban On All Trump Family NY Business Starting Monday Trump defendants’ insurance, & financial statement fraud & conspiracy trial starts Monday he NY Attorney General Letitia James is not content to just have the trial judge Judge Engoron rule that Trump (Don Jr., Eric and all of his key executives and companies) have committed Persistent Fraud under NY Executive Law 63-12 in all of his business dealings by inflating his balance sheet to obtain loans, and deflating asset value to get tax breaks. And it’s not enough for the NY AG that the Judge already ordered, consistent...

The fatal mugging of Barnard College freshman Tessa Majors in Morningside Park last week — allegedly at the hands of three boys ages 13 and 14 — came as little surprise in a neighborhood already reeling from rising crime and roving bands of violent youths. The park was the most dangerous in the city for muggings in the first nine months of 2019, logging 11 robberies in that period, according to NYPD statistics. By comparison, there were 10 reported muggings in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park and nine in Claremont Park in The Bronx in that same period. Reports of violent crime...

Back in February Reuters reported on murders being carried out in Venezuela’s slums by a special police force known as the FAES. Wednesday the AFP published a follow-up on this story that reveals the death toll has climbed to over 800.Surviving relatives of FAES victims say that the real purpose of the group is to “sending these assassins to intimidate people and make sure no one rises up to contest the violations of our rights.†They aren’t even subtle about it. As you can see in the image above, they’ve adopted the Punisher’s logo as their official symbol. But this isn’t a comic...

LIMA, Peru – Peru's new interior minister says there is strong evidence that police officers ran death squads in 2011-2015 and prosecutors are investigating. Interior Minister Carlos Basombrio's comments were published in a newspaper interview confirmed by his press office. He took office July 28. The newspaper La Republica first published the allegations four days earlier. Peruvian news outlets say more than 90 police officers ranking as high as colonel are alleged to have been involved.

Democrats seem to love death. Whether they’re yammering about abortion or “end of life†planning, they just can’t get enough of talking up the myriad ways people can exit life’s stage. They always claim this is simply a discussion about personal responsibility and individual choice but, since they despise those ideals in virtually every other matter, it’s a hard argument to buy. Enter Ezekiel Emanuel. Emanuel was one of the chief architects of ObamaCare and is, of course, the brother of Rahm. Over at The Atlantic, he’s penned an article about his own death and he’s made a shocking announcement...

A prominent liberal columnist’s admission that the “death panels” Sarah Palin warned about really are and always have been a part of Obamacare caused a blowup Tuesday on Fox’s “The Five,” when host Eric Bolling said “liberal royalty” owes Palin an apology. Bolling was referring to a statement by Time magazine columnist and passionate Obama fan Mark Halperin, who told Newsmax TV on Monday that health-care rationing was an inseparable part of Obamacare’s takeover of the U.S. health system. Halperin himself didn’t use the term “death panels,” but the point was clear enough from the clip. It wasn’t clear enough...

U.S. Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) is now attempting to run as far away from her support of ObamaCare as possible. One hollow but high-profile move Hagan recently made was to demand a full investigation of the ObamaCare exchanges. Hagan is also supporting a bill to "make sure that people who like their health insurance can keep it." One wonders, then, why her website still promotes the discredited promise that ObamaCare allows you to keep your insurance. A reader on Twitter, @Jaschrein, alerted me to the fact that this proven lie is still live and being spread on Hagan's official Senate...

Just hours after President Obama announced changes to his health care law to give insurance companies the option to keep offering consumers plans that would otherwise be canceled, Washington state Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler says those changes will not be allowed in our state.

President Barack Obama will nominate the head of a doctors group that promotes his signature healthcare law to be the next U.S. surgeon general, the White House said on Thursday, shortly after Obama proposed a "fix" for the latest problem with the law. Vivek Hallegere Murthy, president of Doctors for America, will succeed Rear Admiral Boris Lushniak, who has been acting as the surgeon general since July, overseeing public health endeavors around the country, after Regina Benjamin completed her four-year term. Doctors for America is a group of 15,000 physicians and medical students that has rallied behind Obamacare through participating...

Some insurance commissioners already have rejected President Obama’s plan to allow Americans hold onto barebones health plans for another year, saying the move will undercut their attempts to build a balanced insurance system under the reforms. They threw cold water on the plan mere hours after Mr. Obama announced the decision as a way to quash unrest among Democrats whose constituents are losing their existing health insurance. Washington State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler said permitting state residents to keep plans that do not meet Obamacare’s minimum-coverage requirements could upset the state’s carefully calibrated health exchange. “I do not believe his...

Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that Democrats are hoping to vote on their own plan to address the mass health insurance cancellations associated with Obamacare. She called it a “belt and suspenders” approach that would reinforce, but is not intended to compete with the administrative fix announced by President Barack Obama on Thursday. “We have our own proposal, which we think is really good,” Pelosi said at the Washington Ideas Forum, sponsored by the Atlantic magazine. “I think that we’ll see in the next 24, 48, 36 hours something to the effect of how do we accommodate those people” who have...

In 2009, leftoids Keith Olbermann and Jonathan Alter were shocked by Seymour Hersh’s claims that Dick Cheney ran assassination squads using military personnel to take out enemy targets – you know, just like the current President... “There’s a lot more that happened in that Bush administration, directly out of the vice-president’s office, that we don’t know about yet,” warned Alter, adding that once the full details become known, they “will curl our hair.” That last line would carry greater power if Alter weren’t bald. And also a screaming hypocrite. Now that Barack Obama is running an assassination squad – directly...

As if it weren’t ironic enough that the Nobel Peace Prize-winning, staunchly anti-war President Obama is taking personal credit for killing Osama Bin Laden, he actually sent the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, AKA DevGru, AKA Team Six to do it. Want to know more about Team Six? Here’s the second-smartest man on Earth to tell us what’s what:

Hardline Islamic insurgent groups in Iraq are targeting a new type of victim with the full protection of Iraqi law, The Observer can reveal. The country is seeing a sudden escalation of brutal attacks on what are being called the 'immorals' - homosexual men and children as young as 11 who have been forced into same-sex prostitution. There is growing evidence that Shia militias have been killing men suspected of being gay and children who have been sold to criminal gangs to be sexually abused. The threat has led to a rapid increase in the numbers of Iraqi homosexuals now seeking...

A federal minister says the Government is investigating reports that a group of suicide bombers is being dispatched to attack Jewish interests in countries that support Israel. Newspaper reports say the Jakarta-based Asian Muslim Youth Movement claims the plan is being funded by two Australian-Indonesian businessmen. Human Services Minister Joe Hockey has told Channel 7 Australia was a terrorist target well before the recent increase in conflict between Lebanon and Israel. "We are a target, we always have been a target, we probably will be for a very long period of time," he said. "I can tell you that the...

BAGHDAD, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Look in the pockets of Iraqis whose jobs take them around Baghdad every day and you are likely to find a clutch of passes and identity cards, one for every police, military or militia checkpoint they may run into. "This one is says I'm Badr, this one I show to police, and I have the American press pass and my ordinary ID. I applied for a Mehdi Army pass on Friday but it hasn't arrived yet," said one Iraqi driver working for a foreign media organisation. "I am Sunni so these passes mean I don't...

Thirty-eight years after Ernesto "Che" Guevara's death, the revolutionary and his familiar black beret, solemn face and burning eyes remain a surprisingly resilient fashion statement, reports the New Jersey Record. Guevara's image, as drawn by illustrator Alberto Korda, still appears on caps, T-shirts, posters, key rings, books and documentaries. But his status as a cultural icon has grown even bigger after the release of the 2004 film about a young Guevara: "The Motorcycle Diaries." Which is perplexing to those who knew the man - or simply know what he did. In contrast with the image of the idealistic Latin American...
