Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson refused to say whether dead people are on the voter rolls in a congressional hearing. In a hearing on Wednesday, Rep. Greg Murphy, R-N.C., asked Democrat Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson if there are dead people on the state’s voter rolls, and she would not answer yes or no.“Why the hell are deceased people still on your voter rolls?” Murphy asked. “Do you have deceased people on your voter rolls, yes or no?”“We do everything we can, and just like every other state, to remove — ” Benson said.“Should a deceased person be on...

Calvin Coolidge, long before he was president, told his state senator father, “It is much more important to kill bad bills than to pass good ones.” Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin must have been channelling old Silent Cal earlier this month when he vetoed Democrat-led bills that would have required the commonwealth to rejoin the leftist-linked Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC). A report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation on ERIC’s zeal to target for voter registration tens of thousands of ineligible individuals — including the deceased — as “Eligible but Unregistered” shows Youngkin’s instincts were correct. “I have been explicitly...

A conservative legal group identified grave markers for various deceased Michigan residents still listed on the state’s voter rolls, video footage provided to The Federalist shows. Published by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), the mini-documentary shines a light on the inclusion of long-deceased Michigan residents as active voters on the state’s voter registration lists. As shown in the video, some of these individuals have remained on the lists despite dying decades prior. One of these former residents is a woman named Mamie Jones, whose voter file listed a birth year of 1823 — 14 years before Michigan became a...

It’s Time To Set the Record Straight on ERIC’s LiesAP If the Left ignores you, keep digging. When the Left tries to gag you, you’re onto something. Nothing better illustrates that fact than the recent battle over the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), which goes to the very heart of our election system. ERIC was supposedly designed to help states cull their lists of voters who’ve died, moved, or otherwise become ineligible. That’s a noble cause – yet data from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission shows that non-ERIC states do a better job of removing ineligible voters from their rolls...

A federal district court judge in Michigan on Thursday denied Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s efforts to dismiss a lawsuit against her office for failing to remove deceased registrants from the state’s voter rolls. In November, the Public Interest Legal Foundation filed the suit, claiming their analysis determined 25,975 dead Michiganders were registered to vote as of August 2021. Of those, 23,663 had been dead for five or more years, while 17,479 had been dead for more than a decade and 3,596 had been dead for at least 20 years.

Pennsylvania election officials have agreed to remove thousands of dead Americans from its state voter rolls following a lawsuit by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF). In November 2020, PILF attorneys filed suit against Pennsylvania election officials, alleging at least 21,000 dead Americans were on the state’s voter rolls less than a month before the 2020 presidential election. The lawsuit claimed more than 9,200 of the dead Americans on the voter rolls had been dead for at least five years, nearly 2,000 had been dead for at least a decade, and nearly 200 had been dead for at least 20...

The people have won another small but important battle in the fight for election integrity. The state of Pennsylvania has agreed to purge 21,000 dead voters from their registration rolls before the next general elections. The concession comes as the result of a lawsuit launched by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF). The suit alleged Pennsylvania had failed to comply with its own “motor voter” laws that require the state to discard ballots from deceased voters. It seems unthinkable that it would take a lawsuit for a state to stop accepting votes from dead voters, but here we are.According to the Daily...

Approximately 566,958 people voted absentee in Wayne County, where Detroit is located, in the 2020 general election. 2060 appear to have been dead. The Secretary of State published the data of who those specific people were, their home address, and their birthdate. The Gateway Pundit took that data, and ran it through a simple “deceased suppression” service provided for a fee by the Lorton Data Services company. The result was that 2,060 names came back as people who are recorded as having both been dead, and having submitted an absentee ballot. There may be errors in the data. There could be people with the...

Stacey Abrams’ voter registration group, The New Georgia Project, is one of three such organizations now under investigation by the Georgia Secretary of State amid concerns that certain voting rights groups were “seeking to ‘aggressively’ register ‘ineligible, out-of-state, or deceased voters’ before the state’s Jan. 5 Senate runoff election,” according to Fox News. Abrams’ group, as well as America Votes and Vote Forward, are largely credited with putting Georgia in play for Democrats in the 2020 presidential election. Abrams even recently credited her own efforts to register Georgia voters and fight what she termed “voter suppression” with helping to secure...

There is no evidence to claims made by President Donald Trump and some key Republicans that dead people voted in Pennsylvania and Michigan, officials in those states have said Trump has said without proof that the election in which President-elect Joe Biden has been projected as the winner, had been undermined by fraud because a number of people voted using the identities of the deceased. Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani and Sen. Lindsey Graham have also repeated the claims. The court found no deficiency in how PA maintains its voter rolls, and there is currently no proof provided that any deceased...

Smokin' Joe Frazier, the city's most famous boxer, may have died on Nov. 7, 2011. But he still lives on at the polls. In 2018, according to city records, the former heavyweight champ voted in the general election in his adopted hometown. On city records that provide a "detailed inquiry" on voters, they got Smokin' Joe's birthdate right, Jan. 12, 1944. In a touch of nostalgia, the records also list Frazier's address as 2917 N. Broad Street. That's the location of the old Smokin' Joe's Gym, the three-story converted brick warehouse where, in the 1970s, Frazier trained for all of...

There are at least 21,000 dead people on the state of Pennsylvania’s voter rolls, according to an amended lawsuit filed on Thursday. A lawsuit filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) alleges that there are at least 21,000 dead people on Pennsylvania’s voter rolls. The lawsuit claims that Pennsylvania failed to “reasonably maintain” their voter registration records under federal and state law in time for the 2020 presidential election. “As of October 7, 2020, at least 9,212 registrants have been dead for at least five years, at least 1,990 registrants have been dead for at least ten years, and...

While the mainstream media was doing a victory lap for former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the Trump campaign held a press conference about voter fraud in Pennsylvania. "Let me just give you one concrete example, not anecdotal, but concrete example of what we believe to be valid voted fraud in the State of Pennsylvania," Trump campaign senior adviser Corey Lewandowski said during Saturday's press conference. "I draw you to the attention of an obituary listed for Denise [inaudible] of Allegheny County. Born 9/10/1946, deceased 10/22/2020. Her application to vote was received on 10/23, the day...

In the early 1990s, the population of Bend was around 25,000 and leaned Republican. A lumber mill operated along the banks of the Deschutes River in Oregon’s high-desert country. Today, the lumber mill is an REI outdoor recreation store. The population has quadrupled. And for the first time in memory, the number of registered Democrats in Deschutes County recently eclipsed the number of Republicans. The transformation shows how demographic shifts and the GOP’s tack further to the right are helping push the party into a nosedive along the West Coast. The last Republican presidential candidate that California went for was...

This is my own position, and if it is in the wrong venue, just change it, but I really don’t need to be bitch-slapped by the self-annointed keepers of Freeper Purity! (And you guys know who you are!) Okay, my Mom passed away about three years ago. My sister, who was living with her, is getting ready to retire and move away. I suggested to her that she make sure that Mom’s name has been removed from the voter registration rolls. I believe that it is incumbent on all of us who have lost beloved family members, to insure that...
