DOJ to give Congress email evidence that the Biden admin knew it did not have probable cause to raid Trump's home

On August 8, 2022, former President Biden's administration authorized an FBI raid of President Trump's Florida home in the unprecedented legal prosecution of a former president.

Former AG Merrick Garland said that he personally authorized the raid.

At the time, senior FBI agents thought the plan to raid the home was absolutely ludicrous.

During the raid, the Biden admin placed "top secret" cover pages on documents they found in what seemed like a staged attempt to prove Trump's guilt.

Well, Biden and Garland's lawfare against Trump failed miserably, helping Trump get reelected as commander-in-chief. Trump's new FBI director, Kash Patel, said in August that the raid was not only a political stunt, but illegal.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed there was no legal basis for the Mar-a-Lago raid:

Now, Patel and AG Pam Bondi are preparing a report to give to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees that will outline how Biden's prosecutors ignored the Constitution and U.S. law in authorizing the raid. This report will include emails from the FBI that warned Biden's people about proceeding with a raid due to the legal ramifications.

From Just the News:

The emails are to be turned over as early as Tuesday to the Senate and House Judiciary committees, ahead of a planned deposition Wednesday from ex-special prosecutor Jack Smith, who inherited the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case just months after the August 2022 raid of Trump's home that rocked the political world ahead of the 2024 election.

The memos show the FBI's Washington field office 'does not believe they established probable cause' prior to raiding Trump's Florida home, according to one source with direct knowledge of the memos about to be turned over to Congress.

This is important.

If true, it means Biden's people did not only ignore the law and violate Trump's constitutional rights, but they knew they were violating the law and did it anyway.

The raid was conducted in order to find classified documents that Trump had allegedly failed to turn over when his first term ended. (Notably, classified documents were also found in Biden's garage and office, but a DOJ investigator found Biden is too senile to stand trial.)

Meanwhile, the special counsel appointed by the Biden admin to investigate Trump, Jack Smith, doggedly sought to destroy The Donald, going as far as to challenge the Supreme Court in order to get the authorization to do so.

Smith has now been called before Congress to testify about his role in leading what many perceive to be a coup to keep a political rival from being democratically elected by the will of the American people.

The House Judiciary Committee issued a subpoena recently compelling Smith to give a closed-door deposition Wednesday as part of the committee's probe into the federal prosecutions of Trump.

'The Committee on the Judiciary is continuing to conduct oversight of the operations of the Office of Special Counsel you led — specifically, your team's prosecutions of President Donald J. Trump and his co-defendants,' Chairman Jim Jordan wrote in the letter accompanying the subpoena two weeks ago. 'Due to your service as Special Counsel, the Committee believes that you possess information that is vital to its oversight of this matter.'

After these emails, testimony, and other evidence, only one question remains:

Are Republicans actually going to jail anyone for breaking the law?

It’s hard to tell where this might go and/or end up because it’s so unprecedented. I know where I’d like to see it go... with a rational exuberance.

"When will someone be arrested for it?

You really know how to hurt a guy. I live in the Detroit area and turn 75 next week. These are two things that I'd hoped to see before I die but constantly have had to live with Lucy pulling away the football at the last second.

I've been fed a steady diet of: "Wait til next year!" and "When we retake the House/Senate, accountability will be come."

Only thing missing is 'Once Upon A Time'...

Those involved with the order need to be sitting in Leavenworth for election interference alone. After completing their sentence, they need to be deported out of the Western Hemisphere.

Today will be the arrest, trial, conviction and sentencing. Tomorrow will be the deposition. Jury selection started Monday.

Seems like the FBI SWAT raiders should have known what the Seditious Six are now saying - that it’s a duty to ignore an illegal order.

Or does that only apply to Trump’s orders?

[/sarcasm]

Should Trump act in similar lawless ways? Or continue as he has been? It really didn’t work so well for the Bidenistas..
