When Donald Trump looks back at the wasted time and money he put forward in producing the biggest flame-out in Presidential nominating history, he's going to easily be able to point to exactly where he lost it.I've long thought of elections as similar to prize fights or NFL football match-ups. And if that's the case Trump keeps complaining that he doesn't get acknowledged for gaining yardage, when the purpose of the game is to score points. For the third or fourth time in a row now, Trump basically abandoned his team on the ground in a state where he presumably wishes...
  • Olbermann Reduced To Rationalizing That Dem Losses Are Really Wins

How bad is it getting for the likes of Dem MSM cheerleaders like Keith Olbermann? Bad enough that on tonight's Countdown, Olbermann was reduced to arguing that Dem losses would really be wins. Case in point: the predicament of incumbent Dem congressman Tom Perriello of Virginia, who is likely to be defeated by Republican Robert Hurt. Even David Corn of the leftist Mother Jones mag didn't embrace Keith's claim that a narrow loss by Perriello would refute notions that Dems are too liberal. Here was Olbermann, making his pitiful defeat=victory plea . . View video here.

Ordinarily I would not want to take the advice of a leftist like David Korn, especially since I was moved to such optimism when Michael Steele was first elected to head the Republican National Committee. However Steele has not only been a failure, he has been a laughing stock and a buffoon in this job. He has also aroused my ire by making it clear that he has no intention of paying any attention to the Tea Party movement or of supporting any Republicans except blue-blood RINO's. We need to get rid of him fast in order to take advantage...
  • Anatomy of Rove's Leak - (David Korn spinning the Plame story in "The Nation" - outrageous hack!)

Two years ago, after reading a Bob Novak column, I called former Ambassador Joseph Wilson and asked, half-jokingly, "Why didn't you tell me your wife was in the CIA?" In a somber voice, Wilson said, "I can't tell you that now." When I first read that Novak column outing Valerie Wilson (a k a Valerie Plame) as a CIA officer and citing "two senior administration officials," I didn't immediately comprehend the leak's seriousness. But as I spoke with Wilson, I could see the potential harm. And I realized the leak was no accident. At the time, the White House and...
  • Laura leaves 'em laughing, gasping (Not a very family-values-type speech..very risque: David Korn)

Who knew? First lady Laura Bush took over the podium from her husband at Saturday night's annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner and knocked 'em dead, keeping Washington's most powerful politicos in stitches as she worked the ballroom like a seasoned stand-up comic. CUT Although Washington's movers and shakers laughed at Mrs. Bush's performance, some in the press woke up with a Sunday morning hangover and began to criticize her monologue as immodest at best and downright bawdy at worst. "Laura Bush cracks risque jokes at the White House Correspondents' dinner," sniffed Agence France-Presse. CNN reporter Elaine Quijano, who attended...
