Netflix, which has been signing A-list comedians to its roster, is bringing late-night icon David Letterman back from retirement. The Internet network has picked up a six-episode series starring the former Late Show and Late Night host. Each hourlong episode will feature Letterman conducting a longform conversation with a single guest and in-the-field segments, in which he will explore topics on his own. The yet-untitled series is set to premiere in 2018. “I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix,” Letterman said in a statement. “Here’s what I have learned: If you retire to spend...

Stephen Colbert is the rumored top pick to replace David Letterman as host of Late Show on CBS. Letterman announced he plans to retire in the next year or so. Colbert 'first engaged with network executives' while Letterman was still thinking about the best time to retire, Mashable reports. Sources tell the website that CBS has spoken to other candidates - including Colbert's Comedy Central colleague Jon Stewart - but that Colbert is the 'front-and-center' pick for the job. They also say Colbert has not yet had any formal contract discussions nor is there an agreement in place.

During the last week talk show host David Letterman has been calling undecided voters "idiots" because they are still undecided. If he actually knew anything about the candidates he would understand that the undecided voters may be the smart ones. For those who don't watch Dave, it has been evident for a long time that he's an Obamista. He believes whatever Obama says and ignores criticism of Obama. He frequently criticized Mitt Romney for not releasing his tax returns while saying Obama could keep all his records secret. Many undecided voters may be waiting to see if secret documents are...

Sarah Palin has obtained a new restraining order against the Pennsylvanian man who began stalking her family in 2009, alleging that he threatened to rape her daughter. The former Alaska governor claimed in legal documents that 19-year-old Shawn Christy had become more "brazen" in his threats to harm Palin and her family, including raping her daughter, TMZ reported Thursday. It is not clear in the documents which daughter was the specific target of the rape threats, but Palin went on to say that the stalker had targeted 16-year-old Willow in some of his threats and it "bothered [her] tremendously." According...

It's long been no secret that comedian Dave Letterman is a vicious leftist who will do and say anything to tear down anyone with conservative leanings, and he has made it a point many times to attack with disgusting, vile jokes the character of Governor Sarah Palin. The left must really fear her and the traditional values she believes in and represents to keep focusing on her with so many attempts to destroy her reputation and character. From Alan Colmes and his charge that Sarah caused her son's Down Syndrome, to the many liberal talking heads and blogs that reported...

Federal regulators have voted to impose severe restrictions on salmon fishing off the coasts of Oregon and Northern California to protect dwindling populations in the Klamath River. The Pacific Fishery Management Council decided to close about 700 miles of coastline to commercial salmon fishing for most of June and July. Those are generally the most productive months of the season.

"EVAPORATED:" THE DAN AND DAVE SHOW By Michelle Malkin · March 04, 2005 01:02 AM Just happen to be on sick baby overnight shift and caught The David Letterman Show, which I never usually watch. MSM relic Dan Rather is on his farewell tour and bloviated for a few segments about his 1968 Democratic National Convention scuffles in Chicago, his Deep Thoughts on Iraq, and, yes, the little "error" (too bad he doesn't read the Wall Street Journal editorial page..."kerfuffle" would have really come in handy) that we have all come to know and love as Rathergate/Memogate/The Bogus Documents...
