The liberal Center for American Progress doesn’t believe significant GOP gains in the House and Senate should stop the President from implementing more of his polices. The group released a report Tuesday suggesting ways Obama can bypass Congress to accomplish a progressive agenda, and it cites the president’s power as commander-in-chief to make its point. “I think most of the conversation since the election has been about how President Obama adjusts to the new situation on Capitol Hill,” Center for American Progress head and former Bill Clinton Chief of Staff John Podesta told the Daily Caller. “While that’s an important...

John Podesta of the George Soros funded Center for American Progress is now urging President Obama to side step Congressional approval and simply utilize executive authority to move forward with sweeping reforms Podesta deems necessary for the good of the American people. This appears to constitute a solicitation for, and conspiracy to commit, Sedition, does it not? Video at site "We want to fight people." "We're a militant organization." "If you can't open their minds, open their heads." Ok Mr. Government, tell me where equal protection under the law might be and why these folks are not sitting in shackles right now before a Federal Judge?

Given the polarized nature of American politics in the last several years, accusations of inciting violence on both sides have become somewhat cliched. But this afternoon, MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan took to his show to yell fire in a crowded theater, asking viewers, “Are things in our country so bad that it might actually be time for a revolution? The answer is obviously ‘yes.’” It’s difficult to explain the following clip without appearing to indulge in hyperbole, so it’s probably best to simply state the facts: Ratigan invites on cartoonist Ted Rall to talk about his new book The Anti-American Manifesto,...

An election is a formal decision-making process by which a population chooses an individual to hold public office. Elections have been the usual mechanism by which modern representative democracy operates since the 17th century. Elections may fill offices in the legislature, sometimes in the executive and judiciary, and for regional and local government. This process is also used in many other private and business organizations, from clubs to voluntary associations and corporations. -- Wikipedia. Rush Limbaugh is proclaiming "Wipe Out!" and playing "Ding! Dong! The Witch is Dead!" in honor of Nancy Pelosi. The Commissars of the Media Comintern on...

“The task of defining ideas and goals is not the province of politicians and is not accomplished at election time: elections are merely consequences. The task belongs to the intellectuals. The need is more urgent than ever.” - Ayn Rand, “The Wreckage of the Consensus,” 1967 - When Ayn Rand wrote the above words 43 years ago, the country was still stocked with a large majority of producers. Yes, the so-called “welfare” state and interventionist economics were on the rise, and had been for decades, but many more people than not supported themselves and their families by their own efforts....

Well, after almost 7 years in a damn office, and 11 years prior military, I think I'm ready for a career change. I'll be 39 in NOV and current income is above average. Both the wife and I have good jobs, the problem his she loves her job, and has upward mobility potential. In fact, I could quit, and be a stay at home dad, but that's not my style. I'm capped out, and enjoy my paychecks, but there comes a time when you get sick and tired of your job and just can't fathom another 25 years of doing...

(Oct. 26, 2010) — The evidence is all there for anyone to see if they take the time to look. Zbigniew Brzezinski has “spoon-fed” Obama ever since he took him under his wing from Occidental College in 1980, apprenticed him through his first job in Pakistan and Afghanistan to his second job at Business International Corp. and ultimately, by manufacturing a background, faking his academic credentials and resume’, to the top job in America. The Obama administration has aligned the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI with militant abortion advocates in a concerted effort to target peaceful pro-life activists as terrorists and to characterize their lawful, free-speech activities as “violence.” At least, say pro-life leaders, that is the reasonable conclusion they draw from a training program sponsored jointly by the DOJ, FBI, Planned Parenthood, and other pro-abortion groups this past August in Portland, Oregon. “On August 25, 2010, the FBI and the United States Department of Justice co-sponsored a training seminar with Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation and the Feminist Majority...

(VIDEO AT LINK) Republican congressional candidate Stephen Broden stunned his party Thursday, saying he would not rule out violent overthrow of the government if elections did not produce a change in leadership. In a rambling exchange during a TV interview, Broden, a South Dallas pastor, said a violent uprising "is not the first option," but it is "on the table." That drew a quick denunciation from the head of the Dallas County GOP, who called the remarks "inappropriate." Broden, a first-time candidate, is challenging veteran incumbent Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson in Dallas' heavily Democratic 30th Congressional District. Johnson's campaign declined...

Tickerguy's Recommendation: Buy GunsThe Market TickerKarl DenningerSeptember6, 2010 Yes, I mean it. We now have confirmed instances, including 911 calls, of banks hiring people to break into homes where the foreclosure has not yet taken place, and in some instances, they're breaking into the wrong house. That's illegal - until the bank has a court order giving them possession, they don't have possession and they have no right to be there. Folks, I'm gonna quote Florida Statutes - specifically Section 776.013 776.013 Home protection; use of deadly force; presumption of fear of death or great bodily harm. (1) A person...

The UK's tax collection agency is putting forth a proposal that all employers send employee paychecks to the government, after which the government would deduct what it deems as the appropriate tax and pay the employees by bank transfer. The proposal by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) stresses the need for employers to provide real-time information to the government so that it can monitor all payments and make a better assessment of whether the correct tax is being paid.

Is the government making plans to confiscate your retirement money? The Obama administration is certainly exploring the idea. This question no longer seems far-fetched when the group-thinkers in Washington unabashedly promote a doctrine of wealth redistribution and central planning. These Keynesian socialists know they will need vast new sources of revenues to fund their relentless spending binges to "transform" this nation. A logical next step would be to legitimize the confiscation of private retirement assets; an idea that was contemplated in the recent past by the Clinton administration. According to the Investment Company Institute, there was $7.835 trillion in IRA,...

NEWTOWN, Conn --(Ammoland.com)- All Gun Owners, Hunters and Shooters: With the fall hunting season fast approaching, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Lisa Jackson, who was responsible for banning bear hunting in New Jersey, is now considering a petition by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) – a leading anti-hunting organization – to ban all traditional ammunition under the Toxic Substance Control Act of 1976, a law in which Congress expressly exempted ammunition. If the EPA approves the petition, the result will be a total ban on all ammunition containing lead-core components, including hunting and target-shooting rounds. The EPA must...

Pat Caddell is a former Jimmy Carter pollster who is part of a group of ‘old style’ democrats headed by Clintonite James Carville, who are speaking out against the hijacking of the U.S. democratic party by the far left’s Marxist agenda. As seen in the video below, Pat Caddell warns the country about the outrage that is building against Obama’s tyrannical, Constitution-shredding Marxist agenda and says the anger in the country has reached ‘pre-revolutionary’ levels. Caddell says that even if the democrats manage to turn the economy around, it won’t help because this is a different kind of anger. Its...
