One donor was Paul Elliott Singer of the hedge fund Elliott Management Corporation. Singer, whose son married his partner, donated $425,000 and raised another $500,000 to push for legalization of same-sex marriage in New York. In 2012, Singer donated $1 million to the American Unity PAC, with the purpose of supporting candidates who back gay marriage. Singer gave Cruz $25,000 in 2009.

Consider all the Republicans who have won the presidency since Ike. What did they all have in common? The average Joe knew ahead of time who they were! Joe knew who Ike was, he knew who Nixon was, etc. Sure, the true believers know who Cruz is. But Joe Six-Pack does not. Delegate fights are going on as I write this. I am seeing headlines all over the place tonight about Wyoming & Georgia delegate fights, and folks, its not pretty. Trump reacts to a woman shouting profanities about Cruz. He repeats what she says in front of the whole world while jokingly disapproving. This has gone beyond absurd. If this is who the 'conservative' party chooses, then it's certain God is finished with America. We will have finally got the leader we deserve. Which will be Bernie Sanders because Trump will never be president.
