<p>SAN CARLOS, Calif. - Conceptus Inc. (CPTS) has completed filing of a pre-market approval application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market Essure, its non-incisional permanent birth control procedure. In a news release, Conceptus said Essure requires no incisions, and can be performed without general anesthesia.</p>
