PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (AP/WYMT) - Authorities say an FBI agent serving a federal arrest warrant in Kentucky has been wounded in a shooting. Our sister station, WYMT, reports the shooting took place in Pulaski County. The FBI office in Louisville said in a statement Friday that one suspect also was wounded. In a statement, the office said both the FBI agent and the subject are in stable condition. The shooting is being investigated by the FBI’s Inspection Division. The statement said authorities will thoroughly review the shooting as expeditiously as possible.

Police said the girl's father, Donald Bartho Meyer Jr., 57, pointed a .223 caliber rifle at Constable Clarke Steele, who fired a single round from his .40 caliber service weapon. The bullet passed through Meyer and struck Ciara, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Meyer was treated at Hershey Medical Center. MALONE – David Sweat was shot by a state trooper in the Town of Constable Sunday afternoon, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation said. Sweat is bleeding badly, according to the source who called his wounds “life-threatening.” The Press-Republican also reported that David Sweat was shot. The paper said he is seriously wounded. Constable is just north of Malone, where Matt was shot Friday afternoon, and just south of the Canadian border. Harris County Precinct 6 constable Victor Trevino pleaded guilty Monday to misapplication of fiduciary property, a day after beginning trial on allegations that he diverted money from his charity for personal use. He faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison for the felony, and has asked the judge to decide punishment after a sentencing hearing on Nov. 17. Thousands of Canadian police officers gathered in Windsor Thursday to pay their respects to a constable who was fatally shot last week.
