Help! I have a three week old HP laptop that was working beautifully until the Microsoft update on 27 August 2019. Since then my browser tabs have been crashing repeatedly throughout every session, and periodically, the computer crashes too. Hi all, I'm trying to transfer some files I have on a micro-SD card to a friend's MacBook Air. I used my Windows-based PC to fill the card and when I insert it into the Mac the Mac doesn't recognize it (it doesn't show up on the desktop or by clicking "Find"). I have an old XP computer that I need to keep running and something updated and I've lost all printer drivers My error message is: Operation could not be completed. The print spooler service is not running. I've tried system restore and it doesn't fix it. I've tried to download drivers and spooler. Any suggestions........and I'm not getting rid of this computer there are things I can do on XP that I can't begin to figure out how to do on Windows 7 which is on the rest of my computers.

Running Windows 7 with IE 11. On this site all the fonts are very small making it hard to read. Yes I can zoom to make it readable but that makes all the other sites too large. I'm logged in and tried using sidebar config but no joy. Help would be appreciated.

I have kind of done this before. I have been working to delete a virus all morning on this borrowed computer. I think I have succeeded in the main. The problem is the virus did cause some problems. Running Windows XP on Dell GX-280. Have Realtek RTL series wireless internet USB plug installed. When I reboot the computer, the wireless connection fails and I have to re-enter the network setup and re-enter the wireless password key again to reconnect. Sometimes several times. I just started getting notices from my email service for failure to deliver mail I didn't send; to addresses I dont recognize and apparently (according to Yahoo mail) dont exist. Is this a scam? All the addresses that are reportedly non existant are to Yahoo email addresses. Any Ideas appreciated!

My Firewall/Antivirus detected an infection of the "Packed.Win32.Krap.hm!A2" and http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=45e98426fafd221ffb7d55ce8a1ae531 says it's: A malicious trojan horse or bot that may represent security risk for the compromised system and/or its network environment. I tried to block it and delete the infected files, but that just set off an attack against my computer, which caused me to reload from backup several times. How do I get rid of this nightmare, and prevent it from coming back?
