Buttons needs freeper advice! I've never owned a tv, but I'm now looking to buy one. The choices are bewildering. I don't have or want cable, just a large screen (at least 40", and 70" is not too big). I watch a lot of videos on a laptop and with a large screen I could be less confined. The room is big, over 25' wide and long. Price isn't that important, quality is more of a concern. And which kind is best to view at different angles? It'd be good to see it properly no matter where in the room...
  • Computer Tech Question: If I have Norton Anti-virus, do I also need SpySweeper?

Okay, a question for you techies out there. I just renewed my Norton Anti-virus system and the renewal for my SpySweeper is coming up as well. Is it necessary to have SpySweeper also? If Norton Anti-Virus is sufficient then it doesn't make sense to renew SpySweeper. Some have said they might even be interfering with each other. So to renew or not to renew SpySweeper? That is the question.
  • (Vanity)Tech question for Win98(Vanity)

This may, in fact, be a stupid question. What's the easiest way to delete a whole hard drive of files with Windows 98. And is there a way to do it without wiping out Windows 98 itself. I'm afraid I don't know the specifics. My mom's neighbor wants to get rid of her old machine, but she doesn't want the new people to have any of her old files. What's the quickest and easiest way to do that? Thanks Freepers!

I have a blog that gets quite a few hits. I would love to find out exactly how many, but the hit counters I have found I dont trust. Most seem to use a hosting service that I have questions about. Does anyone have and know how to insert a web hit counter that is safe and effective? Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
